Fresh take on a classic
When I heard this was being made and saw the trailer, I thought, no thanks that looks rubbish. However, I watched it and I loved it. Charlie Hunnams acting was strong and powerful. Although I found Jude Laws character very weak. I actually found myself liking the urban take on this medieval classic.

It took me a while to read this book, it all depended on which story I was reading to whether it held my attention or not. There are some good stories in here and I liked some of the poetry. A couple of the stories I found a little dull and some others I found a bit confusing, but overall I thought it was a good collection.

You will all think this blasphemy but this was meh
So many people told me to read this like it was a life changing experience. It really wasn't. I am a massive fantasy fan and I just wanted the book to end, I found it dull and difficult to follow and just couldn't get why it is so worshipped in all corners. I found it just OK

They are; I hated the first book, but the rest were a lot better (King even stated he wasn't happy with the first book).

"Milla Jovovich is in it. It’s another one of those ones that’s based on a true story, like The Mothman Prophecies. They use a lot of found footage in it — well not found footage, but like cop car cameras and things like that. This is one of those movies that, you know, it will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. It’s horrifying."
