The book was alright. It was a very slow read for me and many times I found myself skimming. I did not like how it ended at all.

This is a quintessential 80s flick. It started out really fun, but I found myself becoming bored by the end unfortunately. Overall all not bad.

I found a new author to love. I spent the weekend reading this. My review will be up on my blog on Thursday. Love just doesn't cover it.

I did not relate to this novel at all. I found it sterile and devoid of any suspense despite the dramatic nature of the story. Cold and depressing.

Good premise
I had high hopes (ha) for this, but sadly I found it a little disappointing. It's a great individual idea for a story and it starts off well, I just found the plot dragging after a while and the ending was disappointing. Hope herself isnt tbe most endearing of characters either. Shame as the writing was very good, just the story itself doesn't live up to expectations.

Enjoyable
I loved the humour in this film, I found it hilarious. The acting was great and you didn't really know what was happening!my only downfall to this film was that I had seen another film with a similar concept which was really out of this world and I found myself comparing the 2 quite often.
Definitely worth a watch, for a laugh and a bit of suspense!

Micky Barnard (542 KP) rated Gabriel's Inferno in Books
Oct 28, 2018 (Updated Oct 28, 2018)
Didn't agree with the hype
I found this book slow moving, particularly the first 40%. Julianne as a character was interesting and engaging. Gabriel, however, I found hard to figure out and his character inconsistent. Some of his dialogue was difficult to believe. The premise for the story was good, although more could have been made of the forbidden aspect. I am unsure whether I will read the next ones.
