Really liked this ARC I won from a Goodreads Giveaway, I found the characters relatable and realistic and could feel the emotions radiating off Lucy. Definitely will be on the lookout for more coming from Carola Lovering.

Found Helena in A Christmas Bride a little hard to like - mainly because she didn't like herself. Christmas Beau was a real heart warming tear in the eye sort of story - perfect for this time of year!

Wow, found out this morning I'd won the child pop figure and then he was delivered this afternoon. So cute he made two nine year old's go squee and one of them wasn't even in the house.

"This novel explores the oft confusing social mores and prejudices of humankind, all while following a Mars-born human male's first trip to earth. I found it incredibly relevant to the America that I've grown up in."

The timeline in regards to the webisodes and movies is kind of all over the place but I still found it cute. Essays and quotes from the characters were adorable. Formatted like an actual yearbook. Fun read

I realize this novella is an important part of the series, but I found myself bored and wanting to skip it altogether. This, of course, is my own fault and not Victoria's - the correspondence was so real.

I read many American novels, and recall especially John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath, in which I found many similarities between the plight of the migrant workers in that novel and our own laborers and farm workers.”
