Tetris style gaming (1 more)
Evolution of levels
Great entry level evolution game for all the family
This was our first try at playing an evolution game and we have found it very exciting to open the envelopes revealing new rules and stickers. We have also found it good to linger at certain levels to get the hang of new rules and develop strategies rather than rushing through. The Tetris style building is addictive and it's often surprising how well or badly your score ends up in comparison to how you think you have done. Enjoyed by both parents and teenage kids in our family.

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated To All the Boys I've Loved Before in Books

Those first 80 pages or so were a real struggle for me. I found Margot and Lara Jean both really annoying, especially Margot. She's supposed to be all selfless but I found here quite the opposite so when she finally went to Scotland I was very happy.
I then pretty much devoured the book once LJ's letters got posted out and her love interests made appearances. I was very much cheering her on with both guys but there was something about Peter...and then it ended without a conclusion, or even a HFN.
So I really need to buy the second book in the series to find out what happens next.

You Should Have Left...this movie alone. Not sure whether I found this movie or it found me, but thankfully I made my way out of it. Was a little hard to get into at first, but about halfway through it got turned around on itself just like Kevin Bacon's character in the movie and started to feel very promising. It was all a lie though, and just like many of the hallways in the house it went nowhere and just didn't pan out. You Should Have Left was like a polaroid shot taken at the right angle, but you're left shaking the picture in your hand and it never develops.

I don’t want to give away the plot line as it will spoil the story for those that choose to read this book. But what I will say is all is not what it seems, and that’s evident from very early on...
Whilst I found the book to be well written, and not heavily wordy, I did find myself struggling in places, wishing the chapters would go by quicker than they were. Mid-book felt a little like wading in quicksand. And then the action jumped in towards the end.
I also found it difficult to relate or empathise with the characters.
But still an enjoyable short read overall!
