I don’t want to give away the plot line as it will spoil the story for those that choose to read this book. But what I will say is all is not what it seems, and that’s evident from very early on...
Whilst I found the book to be well written, and not heavily wordy, I did find myself struggling in places, wishing the chapters would go by quicker than they were. Mid-book felt a little like wading in quicksand. And then the action jumped in towards the end.
I also found it difficult to relate or empathise with the characters.
But still an enjoyable short read overall!

Newest - at the time of reviewing - entry in the MCU, with Florence Pugh taking the lead (and with David Harbour mostly providing the comic relief), suffering from depression after the loss of her sister (Black Widow) and listlessly going about her assignments, until she finds herself ensnared in a death trap and forced to team-up with a similar group of misfits (and Bob) to escape.
I have to say, I found this one of the more enjoyable MCU movies in their recent post-Endgame run; found myself emphasising quite a bit with some of the characters (Bob) and appreciated the message behind it all.

Fanstatic, a different take on superhero's
I don't have time read with my job, but I found this on audiobook, and had to buy it,
As soon as I place my head phones on my ears I couldn't take them out,
Great story, great characters
Well worth buying it

I must say that the title and the synopsis had me intrigued but I practically pulled out my hair as I found this to be a dull read and forced myself to finish reading it. Reading true crime has always captivated me but unfortunately this one just fell short.

OK is a good word to describe this novel. I found it weird that it was deemed a YA novel, but was from the viewpoint of the parents. The mystery wasn't all that mysterious, and it was predictable. The premise sounded amazing, but it was ultimately lack-luster.
Not for me i'm afraid, couldn't get into it at all. I found the way it was written very confusing and all over the place; I couldn't connect with the characters or the story. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for my copy in return for an honest review.

Hard getting into Manon's story
This series just got so much better
So many new characters in this book! Found it hard to get into Manon's story, but got to love her by the end of the book.
