I hate to give a 2 star review, but for some reason, this novella could not hold my interest. Not that I wasn't curious about Dawson and Bethany's story, but I found myself skipping through a lot of it. It was still a sweet story.

I found this film very entertaining. It is a film-oriented at children and YA, and I loved the message it sends. I absolutely loved Enola, she is a strong and curious girl. Even though the plot can get silly sometimes, I really enjoyed it.

After author Paul Torday died, his son Piers found his father's last manuscript, which was supposed to become his ninth novel. Piers decided to complete this unfinished work to honor his father's memory. Read my review of this unintentional collaborative effort here.

Fun!

This was quite a fun comic. It made me laugh a little in places at the situations they found themselves in and how they solved them.

The art wasn't as realistic as I'm used to but it grew on me the more I read. I'd love to read more issues.

This novel immediately reminded me of Louise Penny’s Inspector Gamache series. The bucolic setting is similar as well as the structure and characters. I found this story a bit slow and drawn out. Although it is a good book and up to par with Penny’s novels, it is not for me.

So Marianne...

Initial thoughts on Season 1?

In all honesty I was really disappointed. The plot just seemed to drag then tail off. The suspension was built up from episode 1, from there it dwindled and I found it so difficult to stay focused.

I may have to re-watch
