When I saw this on NetGalley I immediately loved the cover and when I read the synopsis I quickly jumped on it. I was so disappointed as it was boring and quite honestly I found myself getting confused and lost with the story line. I simply had no connection with this read.

It was really slow, a lot of unnecessary details that only made the story longer, but Chaol is my favorite character, he is so human and has a lot of flaws, so I really loved to see him grow as a character. I’m also soooo happy that he finally found his happiness ❤️

This is a difficult one for me to explain how I feel about it. On the one hand, I really enjoyed it but on the other, I found it a little confusing.

Beautiful fairy tale for modern times (1 more)
Excellent worldbuilding
Found it hard to separate the book from the author - several times I could easily imagine Gaiman sitting at his desk writing this, rather than making me get lost in the story. Made the 'romantic' scenes a bit awkward (0 more)
A beautifully-written fairy tale

Well written but a disappointing end
This is a brilliant written character driven story, and it's a great quick read. So quick I finished it in one afternoon. It's quite disturbing in a way considering the subject matter, although I found the ending to be a bit disappointing as it was fairly predictable.

Great Book
I've read this twice now and I love it. It's a great book. The main character is interesting, smart, and witty. I loved reading the science aspects of it and I found myself reading late into the night because I had to know what happened next. Quite an enjoyable read.

Not as interesting or promising as it sounds, yet there's still some good information to be found even if there isn't enough detail for at least half the how-to's (probably a very good idea) and there are a few minor editing errors (e.g. their instead of they're, numbered lists missing a digit).

nice beginning.. unfortunately you do not get anything else but a beginning. I found it lacking in depth. I think I would have rated of better if the story went some where but it finishes in the middle of chapter one or two that's is than you get the explanation from Stephen why.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved the characters especially lily. I found myself trying not to cry several times because of her and her father. I did wish there was more to the ending it felt rushed compared to the rest of the story but overall very sweet and cute story.
