Emotionally Charged
Damn, this was simply a lovely story full of love, sadness, and redemption. While reading Zoey’s story I found myself crying, laughing and even wondering if I myself would be filled with the same kind of jealousy that Zoey experienced throughout the storyline. The author’s writing style pulls you in right from the start with beautiful characters and thought-provoking lines. I highly recommend this emotionally charged read.

Characters
I loved the 'detatched' way in which the author writes his characters. The lead seems naive and perhaps emotionally shut down. I found the plot really unusual and the way in which owen and his farther are treated made me angry. But a book that can make you feel things about a character must surely be a good book in my opinion!

Helen and Ollie become very smug and annoying after a while (1 more)
The fan-made jingles
There are some episodes of this podcast I really enjoyed. Questions were asked by listeners that gave really interesting or entertaining answers. However over time I found Helen and Ollie (and Martin the soundman) to become quite self-satisfied and irritating after a while and stopped listening.

A normal story with an interesting King spin
This starts off this starts off as a normal and interesting tale of a wife escaping her abusive husband, but in true King style, it goes completely off the scale with its supernatural twist. In all honesty, I found some of the supernatural side a little too bonkers, but it is still an enjoyable read, albeit maybe a bit on the long side.

I feel very privileged to have been invited to review this book by the author and duly received my copy from Netgalley and the publisher, Thomas & Mercer/Amazon Publishing and, yet again, I was most definitely not disappointed and I thoroughly enjoyed getting lost amongst the words of Mel Sherratt.

GameCritics (290 KP) rated The End Is Nigh in Video Games
Aug 1, 2017
Its interlocked world introduces some fun exploration, even if it can be a pain to backtrack through brutal gauntlets time. But if you’ve found the platform genre a little too lenient in recent years, this will give the fix you’ve been looking for.

Amazing cast (2 more)
Brilliant writing
Gets you hooked from episode 1
Damn...
Jason Bateman is just one of those actors I really enjoy watching and Ozark really shows him at his best. The show is a drama filled rollercoaster with a truly amazing cast. Well there are a few dragging bits to it I never found it all that hard to power through.

A Fun and Bloody Mess
I found this TV series to be pretty faithful to the video game series. The art is pretty good, though occasionally strays into Aeon Flux art territory, which I wasn't a huge fan of. I was amazed at the wealth of voice actors that are part of this production and am very much looking forward to the next season.

Ruth Frampton (577 KP) rated Leonardo da Vinci in 30 Seconds in Books
Apr 10, 2018
Bright and colourfully presented, this "in 30 seconds" book about the brilliant man, Leonardo Da Vinci is targeted at middle-grade readers but accessible by older students as well. It is well laid out and leaves information easily found. Illustrations are meaningful and show the works of the great man.
Overall, this is a pleasant read, that adds to information and one I would happily put in my youngster's library.
