I feel a little ambivalent about this movie. I think I like it, but then, it has aspects that are goofy and annoying. Chris Pratt was fairly funny, but then I found some of the other characters ridiculous. Poor Lee Pace, I wish he were cast in a different role in the MCU, that didn't involve him biting the dust. The soundtrack is amazing, as well. Other than that, it was meh.

I love this franchise so I'm a little bit bias. The main story might be lacking, but there's so much to do, you'll end up losing days in the game world. The base building aspect I found really fun and enjoyed modding all my best weapons. Us the DLC was really enjoyable I loved the world they created with Far Harbor.

I can NOT say enough great things about Netflix original content. My boyfriend and I have found a lot of shows we can enjoy together. Netflix makes a night at home easy and fun.
I'm a total binger and love the chance to watch a full season in one sitting. It is a bummer that some movies and shows leave Netflix but they are always adding new content as well.

Another film that is struck down by the video game to big screen curse. Despite the budget, great cast and good special effects I just found the story uninteresting. I've not played the games, so can't comment how true to them it is. Shame as it had great potential. A nice looking film but without any depth to it.

An Instant Classic
Who knew that game play like this could be so addicting? I've played this season through twice on PC and once on Xbox One and I'm still not tired of the story. Each time you can change what happens and develop the characters differently. It's absolutely engrossing, to the point where you actually forget you're playing a game. Telltale are amazing at making games, I haven't found one I've disliked yet!

An Interesting Approach to Sci-Fi
I'll be honest, I've heard some pretty crappy reviews about this movie so I went into it expecting it to be pretty awful. However, it wasn't. I found this to be an interesting movie about self-discovery and the bond between father and son. The visuals and CGI work were astounding. While it wasn't as fantastic as some science fiction movies I've seen, it was undoubtedly a good one.

Not bad but lacking
This isn't a bad film, but I found it a little bit lacking. It seemed too slow paced and cheesy at times, which is strange as having read the book since, I didn't get the same feeling. There are some good performances from the cast, Fassbender is as dependable as always but this just comes across as barely above average. Another film that can never live up to the book.

I devoured this book!
I found the idea of "mermaids" a bit hokey, but decided to give this a try. I'm so glad I did! It's so refreshingly well written and I was hooked after the first page. I love horror stories and have always been fascinated by the Mariana Trench and the Challenger Deep. I can't wait to read more by this author! Oh, and the audiobook is superb. I absolutely loved the narration.
