Received this as part of an instagram book group. I'm glad I didnt spend money on it, not my cup of tea at all.

I found the main character petulant, frustrating and annoying. The story is slow and could do with some better snippets to liven it up. The only reason I really kept reading was to find out if he does actually find her.

Felt the overall premise was quite creepy.

I didn't connect with this plot as much as the first one and good old crazy Grandma Mazur didn't come across the same to me either. I actually found her a bit annoying until that end bit.

I also wanted more of something to happen between Stephanie and Joe...

P.S. The continual mention of the word pocketbook was doing my head in. We're they popular in 1996? I was only five at the time and can't remember.

Found this book as a fluke and I've loved the series ever since, yes some of the themes can be quite dark but the characters are fantastic and really got involved with them, they also lighten the tone a little from really dark bits. Doesn't always paint a great picture of Scottish people but I enjoy reading it and laughing at parts which are actually how people are in real life

"One of my all-time favorite novels is The Paris Wife. I am fascinated by Ernest Hemingway’s storytelling, so I loved reading about his own story and getting to know the heart of his incredibly strong and complicated muse, Hadley. I found myself transported back to the Jazz Age in Paris, one of the most romantic time periods, and totally mesmerized by the love, dependency and devotion that these two iconic characters had for each other. "In England, it was always presumed that it was written about the space landing, because it kind of came to prominence around the same time. But it actually wasn’t. It was written because of going to see the film 2001, which I found amazing. I was out of my gourd anyway, I was very stoned when I went to see it, several times, and it was really a revelation to me. It got the song flowing."

Hey, it's me again, with more trouble, I'm afraid.

I've found two authors that should be merged. As always, I can't give you the author links, just a link to one of the books listed for them. The main one is first, and the one that should be merged is second. The author is Sophie Davis.

Thank you!

Just finished watching found it too slow and boring good three cast members interesting plot but it was just took too much time setting up the plot and most times went no where in the end u are left wondering did the suspect murder those or not u are left wondering that during the end credits. overall okay movie too should have been made in 90s would have been a better movie

"I was so excited when I found this edition of Charade. The DVD I previously owned looked like someone had video taped a TV broadcast. And of course this edition is beautiful. The opening credits are simply the coolest. And you can never go wrong with pairing such charming and lovely icons as Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant. This is one of those films you can watch over and over because it’s so fun and enjoyable."
