A complaint about a bad shuttle driver leads to a kidnapping and possible murder. Meanwhile, FBI agent Christopher Miller is called back to the field for a robbery that is more than it appears. Yes, these two plots cross, and the suspense keeps the pages turning. However, I found the language and gore in the book to be too much for my tastes.

The Women's Murder Club only takes on two cases this time around. First, there are the skulls found in an actor's garden. Then there's the man killing drug dealers. I was actually surprised to find that the ladies worked together to solve one of these cases, which hasn't happened for a while. In the end, it's a Patterson book, but it was fun.

Myron returns to New York from an unannounced vacation when he finds out that business partner has been accused of murdering one of their clients. But she didn't really do it, did she? Outside of one scene I really didn't care for, I found this book to be a very good mystery with great characters. I have a feeling I'll be reading more.

Sabrina and Daphne Grimm have just been sent to live with the grandmother they didn't know they had. The bigger surprise is that they are now responsible for keeping the fairy tale characters from causing trouble. Like the giant running around town…. Yes, this is a kid's series, but I found it charming and entertaining once it got past the slow start.

I listened to the audiobook as I was driving to visit my friends. I actually really enjoyed this book. Lauren Oliver is great at creating a very vivid world and a creepy vibe.

The characters were not as well developed as some of her other books, but I still found them interesting.

The plot itself went along at a nice pace. It was quick but not so fast that you don't know what is happening.

Overall, it is a great read!

The start of the revised Accidental Detective series and a brand new book. A trip to Hawaii for a wedding turns dangerous when an ancient Japanese statue is found in the possession of the groom, who promptly disappears. This may be a middle grade book, but it is filled with twists and a puzzling mystery you won't want to put down.

Cece writes biographies of dead mystery authors. While working on a biography of Erle Stanley Gardner, she finds a letter he'd received from a prisoner who claimed to be innocent. Can Cece dig up this cold case and prove the man innocent? I found this debut a little slow at times, but I was still drawn to Cece and the mystery.

I’m usually a bit hesitant to stray from my favorite authors and this time was no different. However, I’m soo glad I did! You want action, mystery, romance, betrayal? It’s all here. The best part is that it’s all here without the usual angsty cliches normally found in books that are listed as YA. I’m not going to recap the book, you can read the cover yourself. Read the book, read the series, you won’t regret it!!

I liked Simon rather than love
This is an above average teen film which ran like a who's who from 13 reasons why only slightly better, having said that I'm a 46 year old man so what do I know,I watched it with my youngest daughter (17) and although the subject matter was important it wasnt uncomfortable to watch and I found myself routing for Nick Robinson's character, over all a good film

I found this book very hard to get in to - the characters aren’t at all likeable and the story was quite confusing in places. The language used in the story was also quite hard to follow. The main character Li-Ann is very immature, takes lots of risks and lots of drugs, and it showed. If that was the aim, then that aim was well and truly met!
Thanks to The Pigeonhole and the author for my copy of this book.
