Twisted & dark, yet still comical storyline
Brilliantly controversial
Can be a little hard to follow at timei (1 more)
The dialogue (accents) may need to be re-read a couple of times to understand
I thought this was a much stronger story than Volume 2 and carried on with the main storyline of The Seven.

It was, as always, controversial, dark yet comical and I found I couldn't put it down. There were also some very interesting new characters introduced that I hope to learn more about in the next volume.

Couldn't put it down!!
This book had mixed reviews from the book club I'm a member of, I wasn't really expecting to enjoy it but thought I'd give it a go.
I was pleasantly surprised, I barely put it down and finished it in two days.
It follows the Character of Lale, how he tries to keep his family safe, how he survives the camps and how he is separated from the girl he loves. I found the characters likeable and it was an easy read.

It's weird that you arnt quite sure what's going on all the time
That I didnt figure out I could use my remote to make the main character choose differently (0 more)
Quite odd, but entertaining

It's quite a strangely entertaining film, it took me over half the film to figure out I could make the choices for the main character so that was really interesting when you can choose differently. There is supposed to be a secret ending but I havnt found it yet

I don't get what all the fuss is about? I tried so hard to force myself to read this and I got about halfway and I found myself avoiding reading all together just because I couldn't face the boredom of it? I skipped to the end and read the last chapter and was so glad that I didn't torture myself any further by reading the whole thing.
I realise that I seem to be the minority of this opinion, maybe there is a secret chapter to the book that mine didn't contain??? Who knows.

Why Me? Why Not. by Liam Gallagher
Why Me? Why Not. by Liam Gallagher
2019 | Alternative, Indie, Rock
A solid follow-up to Gallagher's debut solo album, there are many good songs that are quite catchy. His charismatic voice on the energetic and sometimes slow tunes means that they will easily get stuck in your head, although I would not say that any of them are outstanding. Overall, it has a larger range of enjoyable tracks than its predecessor but (perhaps with the exception of 'Now That I've Found You') none that reach the heights of some of its ballads, or those of LG's Oasis heydays.

Tao Te Ching (0 more)
Good yet Repetitive
I was looking for something that would allow me to read the Tao Te Ching while providing me some insight on the reading as well. Although this book did allow me to read the Tao Te Ching and provided some insight on the writing, I found that often the insight was simply repeating what was already written in the Tao Te Ching, if not outright repeating them then simply rephrasing what was written. This gave me very little clarity and little insight.

An absurd collection of tabloid-style articles that marries folklore, fairytales, and nursery rhymes with the issues of everyday life. From Rumplestiltskin being indicted for the straw-to-gold scandal to the sibling drama of the three little pigs, with headlines such as “Game-Changing Name Change for Rumplestiltskin” and “Wolf Suing Pigs for Injuries Sustained” you’re sure to be entertained.

As a lifelong fan of classic fairytales, I found myself laughing out loud as beloved characters were used to mock and poke fun at real-world issues.

From reading this book, I found this book to be a very good read. This was one of them books where I didnt want to put it down and was hoping it was going to have a good ending which it very much did to me. So many emotions went through me when reading this book. I felt so sad for Sal and the situation that they was in.

I reccomend this book to everyone

The story in general with just enough action for me (0 more)
A bit of a slow starter (0 more)
Loved it
Once I got past the first few chapters I really got into it. I found it to be a bit of a slow starter due to the constant negative references to Buffy, which I get that there had to be a bit of tension there, but was maybe a bit repetitive. Other than that it was a fantastic read so I pre-ordered the 2nd one which I aim to start soon.

Some very poor acting
Confusion
So I watched 6 Underground as soon as it came out on Netflix, however I found out straight away, that it was a film guilty of misleading you in the trailers. As much as I loved the action sequences and always enjoy Ryan Reynolds I can decide if this was a half decent action film or just a collection of action film cliches thrown together in a montage with a Ryan Reynolds monologue playing over the top!
