"This record is, in a way, similar to Dome’s 1 + 2. Yet Tod Dockstader is more classical, electronic tape music, I love him. And this is all stuff I was listening to before I was 20 years old. I ate it all up in fast forward, like rapid fire. I was in record shops all the time and reading whatever I could, discovering things like this. I was scouring record catalogues and just came across it, just like how I found most of the records I really love."

"This is a song that mixes humor and sadness beautifully. My wife and I went to see Jason in Red Bank, NJ at the Count Basie Theatre a couple years ago and this was a song I wasn’t familiar with a the time but it immediately registered with us both. I went home and found the record it was on and I think it’s a heartbreaking song with a little bit of laughter to ease the blow. It will also make you think twice about covering Hendrix… you never know who’s watching."

The first thing that attracted me to this book was the cover, loved it.
After reading the book I found that the character on the front of the book certainly lived up to the character in the book, Captian Samuel. The book is definitely a God can do all things when you rely on Him type of book that I love. We always need that reminder. I will definitely be reading more books by Michelle Griep.

I volunteered to read this book from Barbour Publishing, the opinions expressed within are my own.

This was a very unique set of stories filled with lots of different twists and turns. A very diverse group of characters, that give everyone someone they can relate to. All of the books were fun stories, I do wish they were longer so we could get to know the characters more but they were still good :) Plus I found a couple new authors I like.
I volunteered to read this book from Barbour Publishing in exchange for my honest feedback, the thoughts and opinions expressed within are my own,

2.5 - 3 stars. I haven't decided yet which.

I found the style very grating, it wasn't a comfortable one for me at all. The way sentences were written across various lines and stuff...I didn't get it.

The story. Well, after the 30% mark I'd gotten used to how it was written and I was intrigued enough to stick with it until the end and I was surprised and also not. It reminded me a little of another book I'd read.

I don't think I'll be reading more of the authors work.

"She’s got an album out called 'Vows,' and 'Settle Down's' music video is just really creative and really different. I just thought it was a rad song. I actually will say with pride that I was on the ['Somebody That I Used To Know'] train before it took off, too. I found out about it from some friends, on a Facebook post, before it was even getting radio play… [Gotye] sounded a little bit like Sting to me, and I was excited to see that it did so well."
