Hmm...well, maybe it was the style of writing but I found it quite hard to get into.

Add in a strange romance in which nothing romantic really happened until right at the end and we never really learned why he started following her in the first place.

Then add in the fact that it was 341 pages long and nothing really happened until the last 100 pages or so, though it got it exciting around then, and it was good but not great in my opinion

I found this book on my bookcase, not quite sure how I came to possess it, but thought I would.give it a read. I like to give every book a chance, but I couldn't get into this one, I really struggled with it. The plot was flimsy, if not non existent, and the characters are totally unrelateable. It takes a lot for me to give a book only two stars, but this book managed it. I would not recommend this book and will be giving it to the charity shop.

2018 | Biography, Drama, Music
Although I'm not really into music biopics and never been a fan of Queen, I found this one strangely compelling.
Rami Malek is amazing as the lead and proves he has the acting chops to carry off bigger movies with meatier roles and will shortly be seen in the new bond movie.
Overall it's a quick skim over Mercury's life that manages to avoid most of the partying and more controversial side of his life to provide a more accessible view on such an interesting and flamboyant singer.

Bit of a slow burner. Became very interesting and intriguing but then seemed to end very quickly. (0 more)
Slow burner.
The title had me intrigued, i found the book to be rather slow to start then the middle grabbed me with all of the action but then it seemed to come to an abrupt end as if the author ran out of time. I think more could have been put into wrapping up the story. However in general i wouldnt say it was a bad book but it just takes a bit of perseverance to start.

Great read
Dita was a prisoner of auschwitz, books were banned and if found punishable by death, she became the Librarian of block 31, block 31 was like a small school it was to give children a sense of a little normality with a small amount of books which were given out by dita and also looked after and repaired, as you can imagine it horrific what the children saw and the conditions they had to live in. Such a heartwarming and upsetting read.
