Better than quite a few of the last offerings
Or Friday the 13th Part 10:The Final frontier
It seems to be missing comedy from the lists of genres?? That's the only reason you should watch this as they try desperately to breathe new life into Jason who has died more than enough times already!

Watched for a Friday the 13th ripoff it wasn't up to the standards of slasher movies and I've seen lots especially from the 80s and this one just didn't do it for me from the cast yes that's daryl hannah who basically doesn't do much till near the end of the movie when she's attacked by the psycho not one of my favourite slashers

A good early Slasher
A decent early Slasher film released just a year after Friday the 13th, set mainly on Saturday 14th Valentine's Day. A nice little back story to the legend, cool outfit with some original ideas and nice plot developments. Some great scenes filmed in a real mine. If you have missed this check it out.

This one not a classic by any means directed by Sean s Cunningham who give us Friday the 13th it reminds me a it of the the Meg kinda undersea base under siege from the undersea creature on a low budget acting is okay the creature not so okay would I watch again don't know maybe in another 28 years like the last time on vhs in the early nineties

Tagged as an old school American horror this definitely felt like watching an older horror film along the lines of Friday the 13th. However mixed with some very over the top gore from more recent horror films and you get this. Featuring cameos from Robert Englund, Tony Todd and Kane Hodder. There are plenty of jokes, gore and all the other ingredients that horror fans love about slasher films in this.
LeftSideCut (3778 KP) rated Never Hike in the Snow (2020) in Movies
Oct 23, 2020
What Never Hike in the Snow lacks in runtime, it makes up for in content.
My only gripe with this solid Friday the 13th short is that it's not longer. It's predecessor, Never Hike Alone, is double the length, and has a drawn out and tense build up before delivering the goods. This one however cuts straight to the gory exploits of Jason Voorhees, and does it style. The violence against the snowy back drop is visually striking, and seeing Jason (played intimidatingly once again by Director Vincente DiSanti) stomp around in a wintery setting is pretty spectacular.
Thom Mathews is back again as Tommy Jarvis, and this time round, Vincent Guastaferro returns as Rick Cologne, a character from Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives. The very fact that these actors are happy to do these shorts speaks volumes about the crew behind it.
DiSanti and Womp Stomp Films prove for a second time just how passionate they are about this franchise. They fully deserve the keys to a full film when all the copyright legal disputes have been resolved, and I for one would love to see what they could do with a big budget.
Overall, another solid effort, if brisk. If one were to watch this, immediately followed by Never Hike Alone, then that would be a feature length Friday the 13th fan film that rivals the best entries of the main film series.
