A Great YA Read
A lot has changed in the past year for Penny. She has quit theater, and made a new set of friends. When she is struck by lightning she loses all memory of the last year, and is confused by the changes in her life. Now she most win back her old friends, and try to piece together the time she lost.
This story was done fantastically. It would have been easy to make either Penny's old or new friends unlikable. Instead all of the characters are complex, and have reasons behind there actions. Penny herself struggles with coming to terms with decisions she doesn't remember making. She has to figure out how to get her old friends back when they no longer speak to her, and she isn't sure why. This book also has some romance, however it is Penny's character development that truly makes the story shine.

Cards Against Humanity

Finding what actually makes friends laugh Dont have to have a drink to make it funny (but it helps) (0 more)
Some of the combos/cards need to be censored for some audiences (e.g. personal/family issues) (0 more)
Wonderfully wicked
Depending on the audience, this game will make or break the evening. Among most friends, and even family, it will be brilliantly horrible fun; sometimes, some of the cards need to be removed for certain situations - we've had to censor one game for a specific subject matter for a specific family member. This doesnt detract from the game, just needs a little forethought.

The game itself is both simple and brilliant, but pay attention to the age restrictions!! I cant imagine many 15 or 16 year olds playing this with family members!! (Although it would probably be hilarious with friends)

This is one of the games we regularly play when we are at friends houses, and often with a drink or two. Very good, and very wrong, fun!

This book was quite enjoyable! I loved that we were able to follow friends throughout the years and all the trials and tribulations that come with growing up.

Sam, Suzie, and Bella are great friends and the book is written in such a way that I was able to put myself in their shoes and relive the woes of childhood.

The Grown Ups was very slow to start for me, I wasn't loving it at first and even toyed with the idea of putting it down and walking away. I stuck with it and I ended up relating pretty well with the characters.

I liked this book a lot and I will be recommending it to friends.

Sick Water
Cabin Fever- introduces Eli Roth in his directorial debut and 80% of this movie is sickening, disturbing and gross.

The Plot: Bert (James DeBello), a college student vacationing with friends in the mountains, mistakenly shoots a local man (Arie Verveen) with a skin infection while hunting in the woods. Panicking, he abandons the scene and leaves the man for dead. When the man stumbles into a reservoir, he infects the water supply, and soon one of Bert's friends becomes infected. The friends struggle to stop the contagious, flesh-eating disease while on the run from a group of ornery backwoods locals out for revenge.

Its a okay underrated horror movie from the early 2000's.
