Love a good friendship
I picked this book after hearing some of my favourite Youtuber recommendations. The especially raved about the friendship in the books and I do love a good friendship. And I wasn’t disappointed. I loved both Hadrian and Royce characters. Hadrian is the nice ex-soldier that is tiered for killing and don’t quite know what to do with himself and Royce is the mysterious and dark assassin that won’t think twice before cutting your throat. They couldn’t be any different and this is why when they come together they are amazing.
Things I liked:
-I think I made it clear that I love Hadrian and Royce. They are both amazing and very well written.
-This is the first book of the prequel series and this was a very nice story to introduce us to were it all started. The plot was simple and easy to follow but did its job.
Things I didn’t like:
-Throughout the story, we also follow Gwen’s POV, which was interesting but the two stories don't connect until the very last pages. Which for me felt like I was reading two different books in one. Will reading Gwen's POV I found myself counting the pages to see when I'll be back with my two favourite characters.

It’s a compelling feature about love, life and friendship which can be compared to David France’s 2012 documentary How To Survive A Plague, about ACT UP in the United States.

Loved it
I came across Harry Potter when the school my kids went to was trying to have the books banned and removed. So in research mode I read the first one (sorcerer's stone) and was hooked. This book opens a whole world of magic and friendship, good vs bad and all that you would expect from a magic school. Awesome read!

I loved the concept of [Arlo's Epiphany] by [Jane Oldaker] but it could have been so much more. It was a cute story about a secret agent barncat and the lesson he learns about friendship. I would have liked this to be expanded to a novel because there is so much that can be done with the ideas and characters.

This was such a wonderful book! So many great lessons running through through the whole thing about friendship, family, & the impact the choices you make have. Yet it had blood & suspense but humor too. I can't wait to see how this series continues, if it does. Mr. Beatty you have some big shoes to fill to live up to this first installment!

my favorite film of all time.
We watched this for my Creative Writing class when I was in the 10th grade in 2014. I had never heard of it before, but after watching it, it broke me. Fantastic acting from the entire cast, especially from the late Robin Williams. It really captured the essence of friendship and camaraderie between the characters.

Quite a strange tale. This film brings together a man just split from his cheating wife who is a farmer and ex-musician and a young white girl who seems to be a bit of a nymphomaniac! It's a good film about a very unusual friendship that can restore the both of them on the right path for the future.
