"This came out right around the time that a new wave of Mexican filmmakers were making a splash on the global cinema market. It was a very exciting time, I think. And no film exemplifies that period to me more than Alfonso Cuarón’s beautifully intimate Y tu mamá también. It felt like he really captured Mexico, and the complexities of male friendship and intimacy. And those moments in our lives that change us forever. I just saw Roma at the Savannah Film Festival and was blown away. It feels like he’s come full circle. I see an artist really contemplating life, and it’s very inspiring."

With all the ridiculous shit that happens in these movies, the most unrealistic part is how much Gal Gadot thirsts over Vin Diesel....

Nice to see (some of) the original cast back together, but Fast & Furious is unfortunately a forgettable entry into the series. There are of course some fun action scenes but the well portrayed sense of family and friendship from the first movie isn't translated too well here, and it's ultimately lost under a shambling plot with a boring villain.

Still enjoyed it mind, and it's low key hilarious how Vin Diesel's growly mumbling becomes a little more inaudible with each passing movie.

"It was seminal, you know? It’s still a cult film for actors. It’s just about two out-of-work actors in England. I keep that on my iPad; I’ll go back and watch that at any point or scene. And there’s a performance by Uncle Monty (Richard Griffiths) — I think it’s one of the greatest comedic performances I’ve seen in my life. Such a wonderful film. It just reaffirms to me that I’m part of an ongoing world of actors. It’s funny, but it’s also beautiful in the end. When Grant does the Hamlet speech… It’s about success, failure, moving on, friendship, loss, and just life. It’s brilliant."

Laugh out loud quirkiness

A big fan of this comedic duo of internetainers from their YouTube channel, this book did not fail to deliver the same humour, creativity and genius that you would expect if you watch their long running series.
I very much enjoyed the stories and pictures of this almost lifelong friendship, and the people that are close to them, mixed in with their standard quirky style silliness, from inventions to pre-written eulogies, crazy adventures, that pose on that sofa!
Its a book you can pick up, read, put down and go back to. You don't need to be a mythical beast to enjoy Rhett and Link's comedy.

Had read alot of mixed reviews for this movie but was open to giving it a try.First of all this is the weakest of all the DC movies so far for me (yes I even preferred suicide squad to this)

It had its moments and the humour at times was ok but there was alot that let this movie down.Mark Strong's bad guy was truly awful and was about as menacing as a chocolate teapot,zachary levi looked uncomfortable at times as shazam and as for the seven deadly sins gargoyles..just plain awful and hokey looking.
