This is an AMAZING book, and the twist at the end was shocking. I actually had to close the book for a full ten minutes and think it over. No, not telling what it is. This review will remain spoiler-free.

"Oh, how beautifully confusing this novel is. Heller, a war veteran himself, creates a cast full of colorful characters and antagonists to illustrate the insane bureaucracy of the war machine. A perfect compatriot to “Slaughter House 5,” revealing that we all may have a little Yossarian and Billy Pilgram in our personalities."

Lee and Joe are starting off their married life with a house full of guests. But that's nothing compared to a string of burglaries and the man showing up claiming to be Joe's long dead father. I missed many of the series regulars, and the plot wandered around a big before it really took off. Fans of the series will enjoy it.

If you are someone who isn't able to leave their house then the app isn't that fun. I'm a full-time mom, and it's not ideal to go walking around to capture Pokemon with an infant. -_-

I have previously read one of Christobel’s novels - The Crooked House - which although I enjoyed I found it a confusing read and I felt the same way about The Loving Husband although there was less enjoyment with this one.

When adoption guru Sam Brennan is found bludgeoned to death in his house, it starts San Diego Sheriff Department detective Roxanne Prescott on a trail of long hidden secrets. The plot was uneven and really seemed to slow down in second half.

The early naughties destructive Japan
There was a slew of angry rebellious nihilistic cinema in this period and Blue Spring may just be the most punk rock of them all. Its an artistic nasty little film full of violence and tension, as if art House got really pissed off and decided to say eff you. A seminal piece of cinema

This is the third book in a series but the first I have read. I think I was at a slight disadvantage not having read the first two but not so much as it spoiled things for me because I was highly entertained by this book.
