A Dummies guide to understanding and quashing the worldwide drugs trade
What a fantastic book. Tom Wainwright manages to describe the global drug cartels as a business economic model which makes total sense. It is not just the violence and torture, it’s the revelations about the level of managerial stress. Running a drugs cartel, it seems, is not only a moral and legal minefield but a human resources, marketing and supply chain nightmare. The gang-centric tattoos that cartel foot-soldiers sport, were instigated to prevent staff jumping to another outfit or, worse, going straight.

Wainwright makes clear that those seeking to stop the drugs trade fail due to their insistence on treating it like a war, when they should treat it like a market manipulation. Such a clever book.

Pretty good for gaming
I have been using Discord for some time, and I have to say that this app helps me get together with my gang as we play games in different areas of the world. It's a free program with a paid option, and it's easy to create your own servers or to join others that interest you.

It should be noted that both text AND voice channels are accessible through the free version of the app. Also, Discord is accessible through your web browser, much like Telegram.

The paid service is called Nitro, and it runs $50 for a year or $5 per month. I've no information about how well this service works, but I intend to try it out and will update once I have done so.

The Heist
Den of Thieves- is a decent action heist thriller, its also very slow at many points throughout the movie, only when the action hits thats when the movie is good.

The Plot: Nick O'Brien is the hard-drinking leader of the Regulators, an elite unit of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Ray Merrimen is the recently paroled leader of the Outlaws, a gang of ex-military men who use their expertise and tactical skills to evade the law. O'Brien, Merrimen and their crews soon find themselves on a direct collision course as the criminals hatch an elaborate plan for a seemingly impossible heist -- the city's Federal Reserve Bank.

Gerald Butler, Pablo Schrieber and O'Shea Jackson Jr. are all good in this film.

What else can i say.

This is one of my favorites, except Butler's character really annoyed me.

"My son Ben went to Elliot School, which is quite famous for producing musicians. The first one that I knew was Kieran Hebden, who makes music as Four Tet. There was a culture at one point that was encouraging people. Ben was in the same class as the xx’s Romy [Madley-Croft] and he knew Jamie [Smith] quite well, and I knew his parents. We even went to their holiday house in Norfolk. The xx were the shy ones, they were like a little gang. Jamie was the most outgoing one, and he was pretty shy. I knew quite a lot about how that record happened, that they tried first with a producer and then did it in a house studio. We were living just down the road from where that was going on."
