Erika (17788 KP) rated John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) in Movies
Nov 27, 2017
Chapter 2 wasn't necessarily better than the first John Wick, but I didn't have to see his poor dead puppy. The action was good, and everything was well-choreographed. I love knowing that Keanu did the stunts, and he's just general a bad ass as John Wick. I'm not sure where Chapter Three will go, but I'm definitely, anxiously awaiting it.
Shaun Collins (3 KP) rated Lethbridge-Stewart: Mind of Stone (#10) in Books
Jan 12, 2018
Yet another excellent entry into the Lethbridge-Stewart series that features a slow, but deliberate build to a breakneck climax. With a James Bond feel, it makes a great capstone to this particular season of books, all of which have been solid. Can't recommend these enough for Doctor Who fans, or fans of sci-fi in general. Depressing, important but unstructured
As a general Chomsky fan, his arguments are always important and well rounded. However, this book felt very unstructured and more like a long rant. He switched from one country to another making it difficult to follow his original message and it ends up being a jumble of disputes. I've definitely read better of his works.
Dean (6926 KP) rated Rango (2011) in Movies
Feb 10, 2018
A good animation with some slick visuals and decent humour. Just seen how good the voice cast line up is, not recognizing most of them. It has nice little in joke to one or two of Depp's other films and westerns in general. Just thought the actual story was about as basic as it could be, still an entertaining watch though.
Hayley (16 KP) rated Bronco by Canaan Smith in Music
Aug 13, 2018
This is Canaan's debut album from 2015 and includes his #1 hit Love You Like That and third single Hole In A Bottle. The title track is about the death of his oldest brother.
I love this album and him in general. None of these songs have gotten old and I usually listen to this album at least weekly; if not daily.

Micky Barnard (542 KP) rated Messenger in Apps
Sep 25, 2018
Reliable and easy to use
In general, messenger delivers the best platform for messaging around on social media. It's intuitive to use and you can send pictures, use gifs, filters etc. Group chat within messenger also works very well. I am occasionally dissatisfied when updates come and usability is changed but I do find that the issues are ironed out in the end.

One of Douglas Adams best
So I will admit that Douglas Adams work can take getting used to but if you like his style of confusing then you will love this. The trilogy in 5 parts is the general term for it, and it describes the fantastical world held with in these pages brilliantly
