Sasha Zarins (1 KP) rated Before We Were Yours in Books
Jan 17, 2018
I enjoyed this book more than I have any other books recently. The characters really stayed with me and I cared deeply for the kids. It’s a bit predictable and formulaic, but I don’t tend to mind that in general. I enjoyed Rill’s story more than Avery’s but I liked how it came together in the end. I also loved the message about the importance of family, both born and made.
One of the writers behind I Love Lucy talks about her years on the show and the other shows she wrote for Lucille Ball. It's an interesting look at a historic show and the groundbreaking time for TV in general. Any fan of the show should read it because they'll enjoy it.

EmersonRose (320 KP) rated Knight of The Dead in Books

This book is somewhat outside of the general genre I read, but I am so glad I picked this book up. It was a unique story of the Zombie Apocolypse told by a close-knit family. This book shows you that medieval re-enactment fighters might just have the best chance of survival. The book is funny, action-packed, and pulls at your heartstrings. A great read! Jessica Erdas (463 KP) rated Mom and Dad (2018) in Movies
Jan 21, 2020
This movie is fairly gruesome as would be expected but I found quite a few scenes hard to stomach (and I'm no stranger to gore). The opening scene is a preview to the depravity and traumatic contents of the movie. The storyline itself was not awful but the graphic nature and a general lack of answers made it seem more like a gore for the sake of gore movie. Probably wouldnt watch again.

Reiko LJ (126 KP) rated the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3: Omega (DLC) in Video Games
Apr 22, 2020 (Updated Apr 22, 2020)
Decent storyline (2 more)
New squadmates
New enemy types
Take Omega back
A decent addition to the game. Having lost her space station Omega to Cerberus, Aria is pretty salty when you meet her in the base game. This DLC gives you a chance to team up with her and take it back. It provides some interesting insights into her backstory and some great Aria moments in general. She definitely appreciatesa Renegade Shepard too.
