Ghost stories told by a master storyteller
Liz's stories are amazing! She does a great job of making you question if they are real or not. Her vocalization and timing are incredible. She does a great job of storytelling that makes you want to listen more, and possibly never ever go to Massachusetts.

Resort to Murder (Henrie O, #6)

Henrie O. is attending a wedding in Bermuda that is plagued by a ghost and murder. The plot got sluggish at times, but for the most part it moved along well. The characters were much more real than the last book in the series, too.

The transition book from Julie Campbell to the first of the ghost writers. Trixie and the Bob-Whites put on an antique show for charity, but is someone out to steal the really valuable antiques? Some good action and mystery, but also some back story issues.

A great Spanish ghost story/thriller which I'm sure said it was directed by Guiilermo Del Toro? I saw the trailer and had to see this. It's very creepy at times, largely due to the spooky location. It's a very good story well told and directed. Reminded me of The Others, The 6th sense most of all, so if you like those you'll love this.

One of the most confident 5 star ratings I have given so far! This has to be one of the greatest ghost stories I have read in a long time, full of suspense and shocking twists and turns! I highly recommend this novel to horror fans, I just didn't want to put it down. This is one story that will stay on my mind for a while.

This is a brilliant read. Packed full of monsters like Frankenstein, Vampires and Bigfoot, it starts by giving a history as to where the myth or story of the creatures came from. It then continues with a modern day science look at them and explains whether or not they could exist or survive in the real world.

A fantastic read for any budding ghost buster.

I received this copy and f Buried in the Stacks from Crooked Lane Books through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Carrie is an interesting character. I really liked her relationship with Evelyn the library ghost.

There's bits dealing with classism here which I was pleasantly surprised by. That's not been dealt with in the cozies I've read.

Solid mystery involving a not very likable victim.

"Having now seen it about ten times, I'm convinced that Andrew Haigh's brilliant ghost story is one of the best films I've ever seen. It also has one of the most perfect final shots in all of cinema. Pair this one with the also-perfect The Age of Innocence (1993) (which serves as the opposite side of the same thematic coin) for a pummeling double feature."

"I fell in love with Lola when I was twelve. I fell in love with Anouk Aimée, with all the characters, with Nantes, with Jacques Demy, with cinema. Lola isn’t anything much, just a woman who walks the streets of a ghost town. But that walk speaks of beauty, and the end of beauty. That walk says everything about the vain effort of filming."
