Morgan Sheppard (1037 KP) created a post

An October question for the community.

Do you believe in ghosts? Practically rather than philosophically; the specific experience of being somewhere old and quiet at the wrong hour and feeling something you couldn't account for. The Welsh folkloric tradition treats the presence of the ancestral dead as a normal geographical feature rather than something supernatural, which is a framework I find more honest than most.

Where does this community land on it? 🍂👻

I found the set-up of the book to be perfect (the writing, the plot, the characters, etc.) (0 more)
A blatantly honest, gripping story about family.
"It blew me away. I found myself constantly highlighting quotes from it, stopping to think about how incredibly relatable it is. It is a book not only about death and grieving, but the ghosts that follow you throughout your life. Anne Enright speaks your innermost unspoken thoughts, and she does so unapologetically." -my bookstagram account, rorythereader.

A very good comedy/horror I've been wanting to see for years. That poster always intrigued me! It has some pretty good SFX for the ghosts, for the time, the CGI is a bit basic for the reaper, and Ghostly wall images but it doesn't matter too much. With a good cast, including a great cameo from the Full Metal jacket drill sergeant almost doing the same character, along with Peter Jackson in charge you know it will be good.

It's that time of the year. It's time for all the scary movies of vampires, werewolves, monsters, ghosts, witches, zombies, aliens, and the scariest of all, other HUMANS, to invade our screens.

So tell me, do you like scary to watch movies?
