The premise of the story is something I've not seen before. You are a little creature trying to return the light (and other things) to the world that it is situated in. Helping other beings along the way and spreading love/light. I played on my xbox one.

It is a puzzle game that really gets you thinking and is very clever. I spent quite some hours on this game trying to figure out the puzzles. There are several "boss battles" although these are not in the usual sense. I recommend giving it a go to find out.

The fantasy setting is stunning, the special effects, the colours, everything is just dialed up and it looked so wonderful on my HD tv.

The game is almost too sure although I have spent 20 hours completing it, I've now gone back to finish each section of the map to 100%.

If you like puzzle games I would highly recommend even for the less frequent gamer (like myself).

Know what's better than reading Edgar Allen Poe's stories? Reading them in a Manga format!
Although I am still getting use to manga and the whole reading right to left system, it was a bit of a struggle to read, but honestly, it's so worth it.

The illustrations are beautifully drawn, freakishly eerie, and detailed to a level I wasn't expecting. I love graphic and these were definitely GRAPHIC, but I think that will work well for those who aren't into reading as much as seeing the story unfold.

I have always enjoyed "Tell-Tale Heart", "The Masque of the Red Death", and "The Cask of Amontillado", which is my favorite story, but what I enjoyed most about this version of the stories is that the images to words ratio is balanced perfectly. The spines of the plots are there, but the meat is presented differently, which made these stories both familiar and refreshing to me (as someone who adores Poe).

A huge thank you to Udon Entertainment and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read this.

Almodovar claims his fourth film is a homage to Italian neorealism, but as the wildly silly plot involves teenage drug dealers, the Madrid kendo club, a plot to forge Hitler's diaries, a blood-stained lizard and a telekinetic schoolgirl we'll have to take his word for that. Every bit as camp and provocative as it sounds, if not moreso; possibly trying a bit too hard to be shocking in places (some jokes about a character who's a paedophile orthodontist feel very misjudged these days), but for the most part engaging and very funny.

You'd expect this would all be much too ridiculous to take seriously, but even this early in his career Almodovar is able to find the reality in his characters and make you care about them. Carmen Maura is at the centre of the film and does a terrific job of giving it all some unexpected emotional heft. In the end it's still an absurd black comedy, but one with some warmth and compassion to it. A very entertaining movie.
