Thrilling
If you're into death, blood and guts then this is your film.
It's not as bad as I just made it sound.
You MUST READ THE BOOKS then and only then can you watch the films with the correct mindset.
Beautifully thrilling.
I loved the character and I loved the story. These fiction films are persued well giving they're based on the books. ????

Weird & weirder
A hard series to explain, especially with out giving much away. It's good and interesting but a few episodes are very slow. Also the type of series that builds up to a certain moment. It won't be for everyone. However if you like things a bit odd and not main stream this is for you.

Awesome
Absolutely love this game, have completed it 4,5,6,7 times and still amazed at it. Survival, adventure, exploration, resource gathering and sometimes a horror game this game has it all !!! graphics are good for an alien planet but the underwater at night is mesmerising. Would suggest giving it a play even if the start is a little slow
Ross (3284 KP) rated Black Mirror - Season 4 in TV
Mar 21, 2018
I didn't enjoy this series quite as much as previous ones, feeling it was kind of more of the same, but with some added new angles which didn't really fit in with the ethos. The final episode, Black Museum was the best of the lot, giving some background to how a lot of the technology featured in other episodes developed, with twist after twist along the way.
Britt Smith (36 KP) rated The Light Fantastic: Discworld Novel 2 in Books
Mar 13, 2018
Yet again, this second part to The Color of Magic was absolutely brilliant. I marvel at Pratchett's ability to make me smile each and every page, while still giving forth characters that I can feel attached to. Marked as one of my favorite books, I will no doubt return to this one even as I make my way through all the novels of the Discworld.
Lirahlu (37 KP) rated The Buried Giant in Books

I'm struggling between giving this a 6 or a 7. I settled on 7 because it's not necessarily entertaining, but 100% thought provoking. Some of the metaphorical journeys were difficult to unravel, but the allegorical shaping of the tale set in post Arthurian England was intriguing. I found that once I started the novel, I had to find out how it ended no matter what.
Cori June (3033 KP) rated Norse Mythology in Books

This is an easy read. Very fun and inventive while staying true to the stories I remember reading. For how little some of the characters have page time, I thought Neil Gaiman did a wonderful job giving each god and goddess a believable personality. I also liked that the goddesses had a brain and were not passive characters just there to help the story along.
Irene M (130 KP) rated Monster Science: Could Monsters Survive (and Thrive!) in the Real World? in Books
Dec 7, 2018
This is a brilliant read. Packed full of monsters like Frankenstein, Vampires and Bigfoot, it starts by giving a history as to where the myth or story of the creatures came from. It then continues with a modern day science look at them and explains whether or not they could exist or survive in the real world.
A fantastic read for any budding ghost buster.
