"I was a teenager when I got into Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody was everywhere after it was on Wayne’s World. There’s so much joy in their music, a real not-giving-a shit-ness. It’s great to see them in this documentary being these normal, geeky people. You see all the mundanity that goes on behind the scenes of Freddie’s showmanship on stage, plus there’s the unexpectedness of hearing his gentle English accent. Then you hear him live, and see the sweat in his moustache, and it’s spine-tingling."

"It's that rare feat, a tremendous philosophical insight presented in a way that anyone, at any age can grasp! Wow. Of all my childhood books, The Giving Tree and Hope for the Flowers really did change my early world, but after reading Momo in my thirties, I thought, ‘Ahhhhhh this is the one book I wish I had read as a kid! Then re-read at every subsequent chapter of my life.’ Yes, this sounds cliche but I truly think this is essential reading for—here goes—children of all ages!"

Unpopular Opinion alert: I was so close to giving this three stars, I was literally about 75% of the way through this before I even remotely cared about anything that was going on and I was close to dnf-ing numerous times but it sort of redeemed itself enough at the end for me to boost it just into the four-star realm... I think. Maybe because I hadn't read the Grisha trilogy prior to this it hindered my enjoyment a bit but I'll probably read the next book anyway.
