Historical context is fascinating but explanations fall short
I had a few issues with this book. No doubt the history of the various religions was absolutely fascinating, exploring polytheistic belief systems to its evolution into monotheism. However, the connections suggested between how God is seen to be humanized is not very clear, rather it seems to be a throwaway remark about two psychological concepts that force human beings to look at everything with human eyes. It is also not very clear in terms of its explanation on why God must be one and not many.

As an atheist/ agnostic reading this, the historical elements were more of interest as the philosophical aspect seems to fall short due to the lack of exploration on why God even became a concept.

Review: Really Woolly 5-Minute Bedtime Treasury by Bonnie Rickner Jensen The five minutes bedtime Treasury is a great book to read to children. Parents can read a story to their children and bond and teach about god to them before bedtime. I know that it got several chapters if you want to look at it.
The stories tell you how god created you and the world. It also talks about how good makes you his more important to him. There are stories there for you to read and it seems to rhyme. Make the children able to understand. They may be poems or not but it a nice way to read them. It one way to show your child or children how god loves them and how important they are in this world.

This collaboration of novellas is beautiful! Each one is filled with lovable characters and depth. The messages form God are woven intricately within and I was definitely captivated throughout. Four stars and recommendations for sure!

This book was god-awful. The lead character was completely hideous, and none of the other characters remotely held my interest. I stopped reading midway through and skipped to the end to end my misery.

Oh my God! This is a book full of emotions. This is one of the best books I've ever read. I wish the author was my friend and I could discuss this book with him.

I couldn’t agree more! I got fully invested with all the characters in the book, and cried whilst reading some really sad parts.
