Einstein in the Attic is a fresh, unique look into the age old question...Is there a God?

I love that we join the journey at the time when Adam Reemi first begins to question if there is a God when he is just a child. Obviously, questioning faith as a child isn't ideal, you should be living in a safe bubble of love and faith. Dana Dargos and Said Al Bizri show that love isn't an issue with Adams faith but the circumstances in which he grows up in Lebanon.
The writing is thoughtful, insightful and the perfect mix of faith and science. Definitely a fresh look into things that is well written with just the right level of detail.

A perfect book club read as there's plenty to discuss. If however you're reading this for yourself clear your day and prepare to question and journey with Adam.

Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
2022 | Action, Adventure, Fantasy
The fourth solo outing for Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder (after "Thor", "Thor: The Dark World" and "Thor: Ragnorak") which double downs on the goofiness that Taika Waititi brought to the prevus instalment.

To this films detriment, I felt: the humour felt, at times, forced, with Thor (again, at times) coming across as more of a buffoon than I would prefer.

This also see's the return of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster - last seen in The Dark World, before dumping Thor off-screen - with elements of the plot heavily influenced by the 2014 run of comics that sees her lifting Mjolnir.

Christian Bale is also suitably menacing as Gorr the God Butcher, but is seemingly in a different movie to everyone else! Those shadow creatures are bound to give kids nightmares ...

In short, the scary bits are scarier than in many a previous Marvel movie, whilst the funny bits (attempt to be) funnier than any previous!

Normally, I love journalists writing non-fiction, but this was awful. I was completely annoyed reading this book, thank god it was a short one. It tells the story of the 'last hermit', and the guy was just not likeable nor compelling. By midway, I didn't care why he decided to be a hermit. That's when I should have stopped reading. But, I didn't. Overall: woof. I'm never reading anything by Finkel ever again.

Such a fun movie!
Thor is reinvigorated with “Thor: Ragnarok”. After a not so stellar second solo movie, this is a welcome addition to not only the series of Thor movies, but Marvel movies as a whole. It looks great and the tone is so much fun. We see a very different side to the god of thunder in Ragnarok. With some help from his fellow revengers, this is a can not miss film.

This one was good and different. the new twists on satan and vampires and hell and god.. the adventures that happened... the style of writing leaves you wanting more and needing to know what happens next.. there was also time travel in this story and that was enjoyable as well. a couple spots got a little bit confusing for me but overall it was really good story and im glad i got to review it
