Oh, where do I even start?
This book was everything I hoped it would be plus so much more. I personally do not usually read sci-fi genre books because they (usually) take God out of the equation or put in a bunch of gods. When Ronie Kendig started advertising that she felt God calling her to write a sci-fi book I was intrigued to see what God had put on her heart for this genre. Even having little to no experience with this genre I believe Ronie Kendig hit a home run with this book.
The characters were very well laid out, they did not contradict themselves and were easy to get along with. The first few chapters Ronie Kendig showed us some great strengths and weaknesses in all her main characters. Technically, there are probably only two main characters, however, I would argue that there could technically be three main characters. I will let you decide on that. The characters interacted seamlessly together, and by the end of this book, I was captivated by the plights of the characters. The only character I would have liked to see more of was Kersei, I never saw her thoughts on the events that took place come through. However, this is only the first book

I heard it and I didn't even understand what she was saying but I could feel what she's saying. It was so emotive and so extraordinary. I felt like every time I listened – and I still have the same reaction – when I listen to these records I feel like I'm literally being transported in angel wings. I find it euphoric to listen to and nobody's ever sounded like her before. She's totally unique and just this extraordinary talent.   Funnily enough, I once met her at a Nick Cave concert in Edinburgh. She was there and I was just so in awe of this incredible woman – I also loved that she was so shy and so unassuming. She wasn't really a front person, more of an instrument using her voice.   I'm not a religious person, but I always think it's like music from the Gods. It's not of this world. I want them played at my funeral. I always say that to my husband: 'Play the Cocteau Twins all the way through my funeral, that's all I want' [laughs]."

Corny but much-loved mythological fantasy film. Jason and his men go in search of a magic sheepskin, occasionally with the aid of the gods but without the assistance of modern special effects. A strong, mostly British cast do the usual sterling work while imported stars Todd Armstrong and Nancy Kovack stand around being obviously dubbed.

The script is, to be honest, all over the place: it's episodic, the writers seem to have been making it up as they went (the most memorable character wanders out of the movie half way through), and Jason doesn't actually complete the mission he sets himself at the start (maybe they were hoping for a sequel). However, for a bad movie this has some of the most wonderful special effects ever put on celluloid, namely Ray Harryhausen's brilliant hand-crafted animation. Any amount of stodgy non-acting and dubious costume design would be a small price to pay for sequences like the ones with the bronze titan Talos, the Hydra, or the mob of skeletons at the end (the skeleton battle is such a breathtaking achievement it should really be playing on loop in art galleries around the world). They don't make them like this any more. Even the bad bits are kind of bad in a good way.

I love any book involving the Greek gods!
This was a brilliant take on Poseidon and his sirens!
Little sorry it only went up to 8 chapters hopefully the rest will follow soo!
