Looking for a series or a good children book that may help with stress or stress-related things? Well, this book takes a look at a way to help your child or children. I love the way you can use yoga to help with emotions and stress.
This one is done well. It fun and enjoyable. Your child or yourself can learn from Little mouse adventure in the park. Your child or children will learn some good life lessons as well. Parents and grandparents will enjoy the book as well.
The pictures are fun. They are also enjoyable to look at as well. I see the problem solving throughout this book. The lesson taught in the book helps children learn a skill in their real world as well. Grandparents and parents alike will enjoy having the teaching of yoga and life lesson that children learn at a young age.
We know children get excited or scared. This book teaches about breathing and how to calm the mind in a fun and learnable experience.

Ricky is asked to help stop a crime by pretending to be a juvenile delinquent to help his grandparents stop the crime wave at the mobile home park they run. However, the vandalism he thinks he's after is just the tip of the iceberg. Once again, this is a crafty mystery filled with great characters kids (and adults) will love.

This book was, at times, extremely hard to read and very hard to put down once I began. I felt as though it was so easy to relate to which was the most devastating part of the book. It's definitely one I will recommend from here on out. It left me feeling extremely humbled and extremely thankful I had someone like my grandparents around when I was a child because most foster children are not lucky enough to be placed with someone like Kathy and Bruce's family.

I Really Was Hoping to Like This Debut
Whitney “Whit” Dagner and her brother Nick have relocated to Catalina Island. They visited their grandparents out there every summer, and now they are taking over their grandparents’ glass bottom boat business. Additionally, Whit is opening a souvenir shop in the harbor. She is enjoying her new life until she finds the body of Jules Tisdale, the recently named Person of the Year on Catalina. When the police decide that Nick is the killer, Whit jumps in to prove her brother’s innocence. Can she do it?
As soon as I heard about this book, I knew I had to read it. I always love Southern California settings, although it’s been years since I visited Catalina. I certainly did enjoy the setting. Overall, the book was too frenetic, however. It was trying to be funny, but much of the humor didn’t work for me. I did laugh a few times, but overall, it was too much. This effected some of the characters, too, although I did enjoy others. Despite finding the body early on, the pace was uneven, getting better the further we got into the book. While I followed the killer and motive, the ending was rushed and left some questions about earlier twists in the book. I was hoping to love this debut, but it turned out to be average.

What sweet loving story about a grandchild and her grandma; This shows how love can be given unconventionally and shows what happens to such elderly grandparents with Dementia. Grandparents may forget things or their loved ones.
This book explains it in a way to children so they can understand. Children may not understand or feel confused as to why their grandma or grandpa is looking for things or being forgetful. Dementia is something hard to tell your child or children. This book seems to help because it attacks the brain and will not let their grandparents remember their loved ones or things though they want to.
We see this through the eyes of a little girl in this book. Children can change it for them if they need to think through this. Parents, this book is a beautiful addition to your child's bookshelf or your family collection of books, especially if you have a family member that deals with this.
My grandma on my dad's side either has Dementia or Alzheimer's; I do not know. She had a hard time remembering my name growing up or when I was calling her. I do not know if she ever told my grandfather the message I told her to say to her. I think she has this disease called "Dementia," but not one hundred percent sure. I know she remembers me when I was little, but that about all. She calls most of my family members "You" when she is referring to you. I have no idea for sure. The only name she ever used when she was talking or referring to someone was John. That name is shared and used by my Uncle and my grandfather and cousin.
This book remains done well; I enjoyed the idea and concept of the book. I rate it 4.5 stars (Moons). It was not that deep for me. Though then, It could be me, and that is all. It does teach children about a mental health illness that continues not talked about much. I have to say that sometimes it's hard to do.

This was an "ok" movie. The acting was a little weak. The cinematography was mediocre. The story was interesting, though. Shot in a "home video" style, which isn't unique, but the story itself was. A couple of teens go visit their grandparents they've never met and a lot of weird stuff happens during that week. There's a good twist to the movie you get about 2/3 into it. Not bad. The ending though, was... off. Like it went from being a "serious" creepy movie to being comedic just for the very last scene. Not sure what they were doing there, but whatever. If you're bored and you have nothing better to do, this one could entertain.
