A translated French graphic novel, Clara is a little girl whose life is turned upside down. Told from her point of view, the sense of confusion is real with the reader having to work out what has happened to the little girl's life along with her and that journey tugs on the heart-strings of even the most callous reader. The gift of the doll starts off this confusion, the reader will understand the significance of the gift from an adults perspective but be wrenched by Clara's reaction to it. A good read, a good thought provoking narrative, a story that is likely to stay with you for many years.

Old school graphics
I loved playing this game before the cooperative element was added and now it's even MORE fun.
It reminds me of old school Farmville for gameplay but the old gameboy Pokemon games for graphic style... Except its had a makeover in colour and a bit of an upgrade.
I can spent hours playing this game as there is always something to be done or going on and I love building and growing the farm.
Have seen they are also due to release a phone version of this game which I will TOTALLY be downloading to play as well!

When I grow up, I want to be Hit Girl!
I really like this film, and I’ve watched it more than once! It’s very cartoonish in its delivery, and that’s just fine by me! Although that is kind of counteracted by the extreme violence and the language (I have to admit that I laughed A LOT when Hit Girl uses the ‘C’ word - I think that’s a British thing, possibly ??‍♀️) .
I’ve no doubt this will get watched again in my house - I have two teenaged boys who have been brought up in a house of graphic novels and superhero/ Marvel/ DC movies, so it’s a strong likelihood!

I didn't know too much about this film before I saw it. Just saw the cast line up and gave it a go. Only now after watching I can see what all the controversy was about. It's a re-make of a '76 film of the same name. A dark, disturbing, brutally violent yet gripping thriller. The violence towards women in this film was quite shocking and didn't need to be as graphic as it is. Otherwise this is a good thriller with a few twists along the way as a deputy sheriff in a small town has one psychotic episode after another trying to cover up his previous mis-doings!

Names can be confusing
Tipperton and Beau finally get some answers as the War of the Ban continues. This book does reference some of the previous books however you do not have to read those books first (unless it's part one of the Hel's Crucible duology). This duology is a great intro into the world of Mithgar. At times a little sad and graphic the descriptions are topnotch. The Elven names can be confusing at times Vandor and Vandar are two different Elves, usually Vandar is referenced as Silverleaf or Vandar Silverleaf which helps cut down on the confusion.

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

A difficult read to get into. While I enjoy a good plot/mystery with erotica, I felt I had trouble staying focused on this novel. It was easy for me to put it down and step away and not be hounded by the usual “what happens next?” As whole, it was an enjoyable read even if it was a bit hard to follow. The characters were interesting to say the least and the erotic scenes were decent. Following a pretty graphic erotic novel, the scenes in this story seemed tame. I think I was just hoping for something…more raunchy?

Damn good and entirely satisfying
Every time I read reviews from this movie I always see men saying that they feel kind of sorry for the pedophile(though ultimately got what he deserved) in this movie and it blows my mind, because throughout the entire movie I found myself rooting for Hayley a 14-year-old girl who has taken to hunting down the pedophiles who had something to do with the disappearance rape and murder of another young girl.

Ellen Page plays Hayley so perfect that even through the most graphic scenes she holds this innocence about her that just makes her performance all the more effective.

Danny, a seasonal cop in a Jersey shore town, has been partnered with Ceepak, ex-military and very by the book. The two take the call of a murder on the boardwalk's tilt-a-whirl. A billionaire was shot while his daughter was on the ride next to him. Who could have done it? Definitely darker and more graphic than I normally read, the twists and very real characters kept me turning pages. I love this series still, and it's wonderful to see how the characters grow as the series progresses.

The publisher is selling this book hard, comparing it to the X-Files, Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, and Dan Brown (ew). This novel is about a dude who has a youtube show to seek out different truths and whatnot, basically, a tinge of Ancient Aliens with some Tomb Raider thrown in there.
There was also an indication that this might be somewhat of a horror, though it wasn't, I've read more graphic descriptions of death in a Jo Nesbo novel.
The book took a little bit to get going, but after it did, I demolished it in two 150 page reading stretches. This book is officially released 19 June 2018.
