Excellent fantasy crime noir
I love this game - a great investigative story, with brilliant characters, and great gameplay. Probably my favourite one of Telltale's games, and highly recommended.

Quick read

So this was a one-shot book where each page has an illustration and a sentence or a fragment of a sentence that goes with the image.

Spooky graphic novel with some interesting peices that I wish could have had a little more back story to.

Finished in about 20 minutes

This was really good. I never really thought I would be into reading graphic novels, but after reading this one, I find I kind of enjoy them. There fairly quick reads and they're always very interesting and different from what I normally read. I think I've become hooked and that's a good thing!

Good artwork and an interesting storyline, this graphic novel follow a young girl, Aika, who only speaks Swahili who seeks sanctuary in a church. the exact nature of what she is running from is not clear but the urgency and action lead to an exciting journey with a happy if rushed ending.

So the black death was actually a zombie plague! really?!? This is the kind of title that smaller publish houses can specialise in and as such will find its niche market of graphic novel lovers who will talk long into the night about the minutiae of the plot, unfortunately, that is not me,

I've read the Tamakis' work before. They really know how to create real characters in real settings. Just because it's a graphic novel doesn't mean that it's only meant for kids. Oh, this is so not. I only recommend starting in the upper teens (Like 15, 16 years old) to read this book.

Dark avengers
My kinda graphic novel what if the avengers were team of bad guys mostly former members of the thunderbolts team and led by Norman Osborne himself when he's not the green goblin. It works as a comic and to see Osborne leading his own team is interesting concept

Joker (2019)
Joker (2019)
2019 | Crime, Drama
Definitely tells the story behind why Joker laughs all the time and how he became who he was. If you know Joker, this was exactly the movie that was needed to explain him. Definitely expected this. (0 more)
The movie was kind of slow and dragged on in some places throughout the film. (0 more)

"This is an amazing work of art and history—a three-part graphic novel that dives deep into some of the struggle, strategy, beauty, and brutality that defined our country’s Civil Rights Movement. A vital tool for people, young and old, to learn about the past and be inspired about the future."

Been spending a lot of time reading young adult fiction... didn’t realise how dark and graphic some of the material is... makes for good reading! Really been enjoying noon-fiction to, stories from doctors, pathologists, paramedics and prison workers! What are you reading at the moment?? What are you watching?? Inspire me...
