Dana (24 KP) rated The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices: Manga, #3) in Books
Mar 23, 2018
This was exactly like the novel. I am so happy with this graphic novel! The artwork is amazing. The scenes that made me cry in the book were so excellent. I loved the relationships between the characters. Seeing them all together again made my heart hurt, but it was a good kind of hurt. So much love for these books!
Erika (17789 KP) rated Patsy Walker A.K.A. Hellcat! Volume 1: Hooked on a Feline in Books
Feb 11, 2018
I really liked this graphic novel collection, and was completely bummed when I found out that Marvel cancelled the series after Volume 3. The art is so cute and plucky. Patsy goes from unemployed to opening up a temp agency for people with super powers. She's got a lot of issue and baggage, but she gets through it. Overall, a fun book.
AT (1676 KP) rated WaterSnakes in Books

**WaterSnakes is NOT for kids!!** Wow. This story is like a trippy nightmare! It's so odd, out-there, dark, and imaginative. WaterSnakes is a graphic novel that looks like a long picture book. It's even picture book sized (the hardcover). The art is both cute and beautiful. You will go right along with Mila throughout her dream...if it even was a dream.
Sarah Betts (103 KP) rated Parable of the Sower in Books
Dec 31, 2019
I received a copy of Parable of the Sower from Abrams ComicArts through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Parable of the Sower is one of my favorite books and it translates really well to the graphic novel format. I loved Lauren's journal entries.
This is such an important story and I'm thrilled at the idea of it finding a wider audience.

Gruesome Read
This gruesome and graphic read is absolutely mind-blowing and keeps you chomping at the bit with every turn of the page. I honestly felt repulsed at times and my stomach churned over and over again while reading this diabolical read. Full of horrific turns which in turn makes it into my top five reads of this year.
