This graphic novel is one of many from Marvel featuring Disneyworld/Disneyland properties, or, in the case of this graphic novel, one that never came to fruition. The synopsis sounded cool, I'm down for weird museums in general... However, this ended up just not being very interesting at all. It had potential, but overall, it failed.

**This book is NOT for kids!** Likely Stories in an interesting graphic novel. There are four odd short stories in the book, each a little more twisted than the others in various ways. It's an interesting read, if you're a Neil Gaiman fan, or if you're looking for a very adult graphic novel that isn't about superheroes.

Looking for a new dark horror series of graphic novel. Something along the lines of Locke & Key but am open to any suggestions.

Okay by far my favorite sci-if graphic novel series. Fun fast paced action packed and deals with societal differences and diversity. The 7th volume can't come soon enough!!!

Adapted from the novel by Rick Riordan, The Lightning Thief: The Graphic Novel by Robert Venditti follows Percy Jackson as he journeys with Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood across the US to retrieve ZeusÂ’ lightning bolt before the summer solstice.

As an avid fan of the novels in middle school when the movie was in production, I was curious about the graphic novel version. When I first read The Lightning Thief: The Graphic Novel shortly after it came out, I just enjoyed myself. Reading it now with a more critical eye, I still enjoyed the adaptation, considering how poor the movies were. The graphic novel remains faithful to RiordanÂ’s book and while most of the main storyline is still included, it does cut out some scenes and the story would have been better if it were longer.

In addition to the briefness of the graphic novel, I also noticed during my second read that the characters appear to be much older than they really are. There were moments in the story where if I didnÂ’t read the original novels or knew the plot really well, I would have forgotten that Percy and many of the other characters are around 12 years old.

Overall, The Lightning Thief: The Graphic Novel is perfect for those who are avid fans of RiordanÂ’s original series and want a recap, but not the greatest intro for those who want to read the graphic version before the novels.

This movie is not game-breaking in any way, but I did enjoy that tried to incorporate visuals from the graphic novel into the film. It's a fun, goofy film.

Great Graphic Novel
I love the books and these are just a added bonus. I can read them over and over.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS GRAPHIC NOVEL. Obviously, caps-lock was needed. Super Fun Sexy Times by Meredith McClaren is not your typical graphic novel, nor is it something that is going to be for everyone. It's graphic, and I do mean graphic so that that into consideration. The artwork beautiful, but the content takes the cake on how amazing this book is. This book is full of consent, sweet, fun, and sexy consent. I loved that we saw characters negotiating role play scenes & realistically talking about sex. I also truly appreciated how inclusive this book was. You have people of all shapes, sizes, sexual orientation, etc. which made me want to cry with how beautiful it was.

This is definitely a book I would recommend to the right reader. It is well worth the read & a book that I'm going to have to buy a hard copy of.

Good

My first foray into a graphic novel that wasn't romance related. I liked it, it was imaginative and the art was pretty cool. I'd be interested in carrying on the series.

Illustrated in the colours that the vampires of this graphic novel can see, Red, Black and white dominate the wood print style images. No to everyone's preference, and it does tire the eyes after a while of reading, the story starts off humorously but does seem to find it difficult to go further than that, not finding its place successfully throughout the remainder of this Graphic novel. A shame as I think it all had potential.
