The prolonged grief of watching someone suffer
Terribly sad to read Cathy Rentzenbrink's real account of watching her brother in a vegetative state eight years after a hit and run accident. It raises many moral questions including is it right to let someone live in pain or die quickly under horrible circumstances. This book is truly a love story between a sister and brother. Expect many tears.

The Babadook (2014)
2014 | Horror
Unusual horror film that will have the hair on your neck stand up.
It deals with loss and loneliness and fear of the unknown as a single mother struggles to raise her disturbed child whilst dealing with grief at the loss of her husband and the deep emotions involved.
Very effective and fresh approach that expertly builds tension and the Babadook itself will freak you out!

Funny- sarcastic humour is relatable. (0 more)
Sad moments-you will probably cry. (0 more)
Something unique. Not like all the other tv shows so entertaining yet its only about everyday problems. Its also deeper in that it shows how people cope differently with grief. It really does walk to line between sad and hilarious as you see the main character use sarcasm to deal with his wife’s death.

Recently widowed Nora isn't sure about anything anymore. She has her children and her home and family, but she doesn't know much about being herself. Now that she's lost the man she loved for so long, she no longer has any choice but to finally find out. Read my review of this beautiful portrait of grief and strength, here https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2015/09/12/becoming-nora/
