Superb Enticing
Jacqueline Carey gives us an exceptional series and is a gifted author . When one reads the Kushiels series the descriptive writing has you feeling like you are there with the characters. You see the green mountainsides and feel the dry desert heat. This is an enjoyable historical fiction book with a lot of sexuality: about a different culture. The series of books has depth and character development with a wonderful historical fiction background.

This is a well-written historical fiction novel about one of my favorite time periods, the 18th century. The characters were memorable, and I intend upon reading more by the author.

"Writer/Director Armando Iannucci can do no wrong in my book. I love his subject matter (power) and his humor (as black as it comes). This is my kind of historical fiction."
