The Rock and explosions - what else do you need?
Certainly not Die Hard or The Towering Inferno; however, if you suspend your disbelief and just go along for the ride, the movie works as a gripping actioner.
Somehow The Rock manages to continually pick movies for himself that he is able to carry on his shoulders and this one is no exception. He does his job, makes you believe in his cause and hope for him to succeed.
Hope he doesn't fall!

MusicCritics (472 KP) rated Feed the Machine by Nickelback in Music
Jul 7, 2017
It seems Nickelback are going all out in order to prove they have lost those generic riffs which seemed to be their downfall. The title track “Feed the Machine” offers a hard rock, post-grunge sound and in a sense shows how the band have matured

Man is a god
When I first started reading this book I couldn't put it down.
The front man of the loudest band in the world his story is fantastic.
Lived hard played even harder his stories of making it to the top are brilliant.
The respect this man had is like no other.
He was lemmy and he played rock and roll

Rolling Stone's 62nd greatest album of all time
Phenomenal album, and I am so glad to have finally listened to it in its entirety. So many classic hard rock songs on here (as well as *that* one), from the aggressive pomp of Welcome to the Jungle to the aggressive pomp of Nightrain and the aggressive pomp of Mr Brownstone, it is an absolute classic.

Rolling Stone's 245th greatest album of all time
Unsettling collection of songs from one of the stars of rock and roll. While his big hits are all here, there is a jarring change in style throughout the album as it includes some of his later country music releases. Not a great listen due to its inconsistency, it is hard to see how any fans of either style would be satisfied.
