During Harry's third year at Hogwarts, he finds himself a danger from an escapee from the wizard prison Azkaban. Will this dangerous man find him? Another fun book with some surprises that ups the overall story.

I thought I had out grown fantasy but this book rekindled that part of my imagination. I would like to say this is almost a Harry Potter for grown ups but it is so much more than that. The visuals that Dawney creates with her descriptions are amazing. It was what an epic fantasy should be.

Witch and Wizard is a fun story that felt like a cross between Harry Potter and Hunger Games. The modern wizard magic discovery meets apocalyptic government takeover. The story was short but fun and filled with lots of magic. The main characters were interesting and strong. I also really liked that Elijah Wood was one of the narrators.

Interact with characters from the books, however game play is set before Harry entered Hogwarts.
Game play requires too much energy compared to how fast you build energy (1 more)
Lessons become too repetitive
Interesting enough to keep me playing. The worst parts are the amount of energy you use versus the amount you build. Sucks thru too much energy and gives too little over time. The lessons also become repetitive, especially when you use so much of your energy to complete one lesson.

Adults, this is for you too - give it a read, you won't be disappointed.
You can't fail to love the characters as they set out on their magical journey
Ron Weasley!
The Harry Potter phenomenon started here! Young Harry, lives in a cupboard under the stairs, all is grim his world, until the world of magic opens up before him, a world in which he's famous, but he has no idea of this!

Prisoner of Azkaban is probably one of my favorite of the Harry Potter books. It's marked by a change in tone from the first two, and we slowly begin to see the darker turn that the books take, as they begin to really explore how Harry's parents were killed and how things really happened. It allows us to see deeper into the world of Harry and really starts to reveal more of the world to us. Also, the ending with Serius and Lupin is one of my favorite reveals in the series!!!

Loved it
I came across Harry Potter when the school my kids went to was trying to have the books banned and removed. So in research mode I read the first one (sorcerer's stone) and was hooked. This book opens a whole world of magic and friendship, good vs bad and all that you would expect from a magic school. Awesome read!

I finally got around to rereading the second in the series. I love the characters and overall story, but these books sure do start slowly. Fortunately, she manages to work in most of the seemingly random things later in the book this time around.
