I'm glad this movie finally got Leo his Oscar. But, do I think he's had better performances? Of course. The scenery was beautiful, and I love that natural light was used throughout.
Just when you think the bear is done, it comes back. It scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it.
I'm also a Domhnall Gleeson fan, and I thought he did really well in this movie. Tom Hardy was savage, as always, and it was a joy to watch.

Flash -Ezra Miller a delight (2 more)
Aquaman -though scene have been cut got to love Momoa
Wonder Woman
Its better than critic give it credit for
I enjoyed Justice league. I don't think that steppon wolf was a particularly good cillian there seemed very little to thw character it was all crush kill destroy. Nothing refined or sinister compared to other DC Villians such as Lex Luthor or Joker.
What I enjoyed about this film was the friendship banter in the lustice league itself. Having met Jason Momoa at several conventions from Chevron to LFCC I 've got to say that he's pretty much his friendly self in the film and I was highly disappointed that it was mainly he's scence to have been cut out. Ezra Miller as the flash again is what makes the film he funny friendly and enjoyable to watch.

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Effortless (Thoughtless, #2) in Books

It's taken me a long time to finish reading this but I'm not sure why because when I got into it at around the 40% mark I devoured it.
I enjoyed reading more of Kiera and Kellan, though their lack of trust in each other drove me a little potty at times. I've loved Kellan since early on in the first book and I still do, he's so sweet with her.
Looking forward to reading Reckless now

Veronica Pena (690 KP) rated The Lincoln Lawyer (2011) in Movies

I genuinely think this is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Courtroom dramas of any kind almost always hit a sweet spot for me. I love Matthew McConaughey and he really shines in this movie. I think his charisma comes through but he's got an edge, almost like a chip on his shoulder, but he also knows he's good at what he does. That confidence and then to see him break down a bit, I think it played to the character and the plot really well.
Michael Peña really stood out to me. I know that he only had a small part in the film but the small amount of screen time he did have, he made the most of it and he really took it as far as he could've gone. I think he was the other stand out in this film.
I really enjoyed this film. It keeps you on your toes, you're invested, and you're rooting for Haller. Great watch!

David Beckham's cameo (1 more)
Everything else
Absolutely awful
I think this is possibly the worse film of 2017 so far. Guy Ritchie's usual style just does not work in this setting. Strange, as it worked very well in the Sherlock Holmes films, but it just doesn't work here. The CGI is awful, the casting is terrible (the mage and David Beckham's cameo to name just a couple) and the story itself is just nonsense. The only thing that does work in this film is Charlie Hunnam, who is likeable and charismatic, surprising considering what he's got to work with script and story wise.

This book got better the more I read so by the end, I was almost devouring it. Because of that I'm only giving it three stars because for me the beginning was boring.
Can I just say I liked Lucas from that bit near the beginning where he saved her and he's just grown on me throughout while Jack, I'm just not particularly interested in.
And then because of that ending I feel like I need to read the second in the trilogy

If you're reading this, you've probably already read my first two installments, and know exactly how deep into trouble I've got myself.
But you totally don’t care about what’s happening in this blurb because let’s be honest here… It was going to be a bunch of vague questions and hints that would really give away nothing, but leave you scratching your heads.
So, let's call a spade a spade and pretend this was an awesome blurb. Yeah?
Oh also, I'm Kit Davenport and this is going to leave a mark...
Another brilliant book in this series I think it's the best one yet! Finally we see some real power from these gorgeous men! I absolutely love Austin I think he's been my favourite from the start and I love how he's developed in this book. I read quite a few different series and in some I find the sex scenes a big over played but not in this series it's so well written. I actually really enjoy Kits character too. I'm excited to see where these characters are going! Also I almost cheered outloud at Mr Grey's demise!!
I think I need an Austin Tiger!

Merissa (11800 KP) rated Matching Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant #3) in Books
Jan 27, 2020
MATCHING BLOODLINES is the third book in The Princeton Allegiant series, and trust me when I say this series just keeps on getting better and better! Although I would say you "could" read this as a standalone, the better question would be "why?"
At the end of the last book, Francisco (and us) found out that Sophia was alive and also got a location. The start of this book takes us to that location. Poor Francisco. That's all I'm saying. And what the hell is Loren thinking? He's got his mate so he should have some idea of what it is he's saying!!!
I am sincerely loving this world. It gets more amazing with every book. Francisco really shines in this, showing the reader just how caring (and possessive) a vampire can be about his mate. Charlotte has a hard choice to make. Well, hard for her, at any rate. The attraction between them is off the charts and I loved every moment of it. Sophia is playing a game and I really don't like her. Just saying!
If I could do half stars, this would definitely be a 4 1/2, but I can't so it's not. Do NOT let that put you off though. I sincerely recommend this book and the series, and I really can't wait to continue. But who is next? Is it Reese or Victor? Either way, I'm ready and waiting.
A fantastic story and highly recommended by me.
