This book got better the more I read so by the end, I was almost devouring it. Because of that I'm only giving it three stars because for me the beginning was boring.
Can I just say I liked Lucas from that bit near the beginning where he saved her and he's just grown on me throughout while Jack, I'm just not particularly interested in.
And then because of that ending I feel like I need to read the second in the trilogy

If you're reading this, you've probably already read my first two installments, and know exactly how deep into trouble I've got myself.
But you totally don’t care about what’s happening in this blurb because let’s be honest here… It was going to be a bunch of vague questions and hints that would really give away nothing, but leave you scratching your heads.
So, let's call a spade a spade and pretend this was an awesome blurb. Yeah?
Oh also, I'm Kit Davenport and this is going to leave a mark...
Another brilliant book in this series I think it's the best one yet! Finally we see some real power from these gorgeous men! I absolutely love Austin I think he's been my favourite from the start and I love how he's developed in this book. I read quite a few different series and in some I find the sex scenes a big over played but not in this series it's so well written. I actually really enjoy Kits character too. I'm excited to see where these characters are going! Also I almost cheered outloud at Mr Grey's demise!!
I think I need an Austin Tiger!

Merissa (12404 KP) rated Matching Bloodlines (The Princeton Allegiant #3) in Books
Jan 27, 2020
MATCHING BLOODLINES is the third book in The Princeton Allegiant series, and trust me when I say this series just keeps on getting better and better! Although I would say you "could" read this as a standalone, the better question would be "why?"
At the end of the last book, Francisco (and us) found out that Sophia was alive and also got a location. The start of this book takes us to that location. Poor Francisco. That's all I'm saying. And what the hell is Loren thinking? He's got his mate so he should have some idea of what it is he's saying!!!
I am sincerely loving this world. It gets more amazing with every book. Francisco really shines in this, showing the reader just how caring (and possessive) a vampire can be about his mate. Charlotte has a hard choice to make. Well, hard for her, at any rate. The attraction between them is off the charts and I loved every moment of it. Sophia is playing a game and I really don't like her. Just saying!
If I could do half stars, this would definitely be a 4 1/2, but I can't so it's not. Do NOT let that put you off though. I sincerely recommend this book and the series, and I really can't wait to continue. But who is next? Is it Reese or Victor? Either way, I'm ready and waiting.
A fantastic story and highly recommended by me.

I've read John Grisham's books before and found them a little dry or heavy so when I got this for Christmas I was a bit unsure. I immediately feel in love with Cullen Post, he's a really believable character and I found his dialogue much quicker/easier than other Grisham works.
All the characters were really good and fit together well. I liked that the suspects are given early on so yoy start to build your own hatred for them.
I did find the story heavy and I generally red it a bit slower than other books as I got bogged down in the feelings. It was immersive.

I read the first book, Collide, last year sometime and it just about killed me at the end. There was one paragraph/speech near the end from Gavin that broke my heart and made me cry buckets and I couldn't wait to read this to find out what happened...
But then I sorta went off NA...
And then I went for it and read it.
I didn't find it as good as the first, though how anyone can resist Gavin Blake *points at Emily* I'll never know. He's funny, sexy, sweet; he's like a woman's fantasy man...and to think Emily tried to pick that d*ck Dillon over Gavin!
I'm happy that they got their HEA, I just kinda lost interest with some parts of the book and found it a little long for what actually happened. Nevertheless this is probably one of my favourite NA series'
If you haven't tried this series yet, you really should!

Sarah (7799 KP) rated The Sense of an Ending in Books

A little confused and long winded
This book has a writing style that I'm not 100% keen on. Most of it is fine and easy to write, but then it has this awful habit of the main character going off into rambling musings and monologues that are far too long and pointless. This is a short book as it is, but it's be a short story if all of these ramblings had been removed!
That said, this isn't that bad a read. The plot is simple and straight forward about Tony reminiscing on his past and the death of a friend, and his musings on this in the present day. Tony himself is a strange character. He's actions and interactions with others are highly frustrating, but yet he's still a fairly endearing and intriguing character. I just think the ending was a let down. Mainly because it hasn't quite spelt it out properly, and I had to reread the final paragraphs to get what it was hinting at, and I'm still not absolutely convinced that I've got it right. Theres a big difference between an ambiguous ending and a downright confusing frustrating one, and this is definitely the latter.
