@E. Tabler I tend toward high fantasy, LitRPG, tech, futuristic and apocalypse but am willing to try any well-written author. I love what of Sanderson I have read thus far.

I have much love for world War Z and the Furies of Calderon series by Jim Butcher. World War Z is completely different then the movie. Wonderful high fantasy rpg
I love this game. It has a wonderfully out there fantasy story line akin to a Miyazaki film and I love the options for winning (harvesting above, exploring below or a mix of the two). I kind of wish it allowed you to go play beyond the allotted rounds. Overall if you're looking for a great, beautiful fantasy game that is surprisingly non violent I would recommend this one.
