Does anyone have a favourite genre for historical fiction? I do like the elegance of the Regency, but the further back in history you go, the less is know and the more there is for an author to fill in, so medieval is quite a feature of my bookshelves. I also like a good historical mystery.

I really get on my high horse about it at times. I don’t mind if authors acknowledge it, and say that it is not quite right, but it didn’t work as a story, but I get a little upset when they try to pass it off as fact ;)

Looking for some good suggestions for books. I read pretty much everything, but my favorite genres are Mystery Thrillers, Historical Fiction, and Horror.
