A comedy? Really? Nope not sure how some have put it in that category. It is a relationship drama, although light-hearted most of the time. A great cast, good script but the ending left me feeling "oh, is that it?" Not big on dramas most of the time. This does deal with complex issues about love, desire, happiness, relationships and these subjects are often discussed in the film. To sum it up it is a film about a complex love square, let alone triangle, started as two friends on holiday embark on a holiday romance or is it more than that?

My I love this. It really keeps the holiday spirt a live. It is centered around Christmas season. Something happen about dozen years that though both Gordon and Margret. I love this book because it bring in the historical fiction with a romance that blooms though out the book.
The Campbell's do not realize that they hold a grudge towards someone. There son is hiding something as well about this injury. Though it all things get cleared up and worked though since there train was abandon because of snow and something else.
If you enjoy historical fiction or looking for one during the holiday season. This one is quite a pick and you get two in one with one.

This is a heart wrenching roller-coaster of a romance. Tess and Gus are meant to be together, they just keep missing one another. The pair have a fleeting moment in Florence in 1997 when they are both eighteen, Tess is inter-railing across Italy and Gus is on holiday with his parents, before University. Eberlen then takes us through moments in the next sixteen years when both characters face difficulties in their lives, teasing us with near misses and crossed paths for the duration of the book. Anyone who has read David Nicholls’ ‘One Day’ will thoroughly enjoy this little bit of escapism, serendipity and romance.

This is the second book in this series by this author. This is a story about a single dad falling in love. You will fall in love with the characters as you read. This book has lots of romance with some well placed suspense to keep you reading. A fantastic holiday/beach read book. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Thought provoking, sentimental and sad
A wife struggles to deal with her grief over the death of her husband who drowned when they were on holiday. Years later she bumps into the doppelganger of her husband, her consequences of her actions shape the film and events afterwards.
Worth a watch, bittersweet film, portrayed so well you feel empathy for each character and how fleeting life is.
Also I wouldnt call this a comedy....more drama, romance, nostalgia and grief.
