Ya'll I cannot express my love for RL Mathewson - nor this series - I've probably read the entire series twice and the first few books about 5 times, I just recently listened to this audiobook and I just, I need more - RL just keeps stealing my money and it should make me sad but truly, it doesnt - and her interaction with fans is impeccable. Jason will always be my favourite Bradford and the epilogue was probably my favourite part of the book - mostly, and the use of YOU BASTARD just was undeniable in this book.. seriously, obsessed - also I think there's a reference to hollywood hearts book 1 in there - which even after I read this book multiple times I just now noticed, I clearly need help - read this series .. do it NOW

The fourth book in Donald Jack's Bandy series of novels, following a Canadian aviator through the early parts of the 20th century.
This is the first novel not set in (or related to) The First World War, as it is set in the 1920s, and follows the trials and tribulations of its titular character upon his escape from Russia and return to America: events that see him join (and then get fired from) the postal service, and eventually become an unwitting early Hollywood star.
While it's still fitfully amusing, I have to say I didn't find this as funny as the earlier books: maybe because it is set in America, and relates to events and characters that we (in the West) are not as familiar with as our American or Canadian counter-parts.

Not bad
This movie had some good acting(and some mediocre) but the cinematography was good and the story, overall, hit the mark for creepy. This lady played the part of humiliated high schooler turned psycho pretty well. The story unfolded well. A little slow at first but rolled along at a good pace pretty quickly and smoothly. These kids, however, missed so many red flags with this woman. Naivety at it's finest. The ending was a little weak but at least they didn't go the typical "leave it open for a sequel" way Hollywood seems to love doing so much. Some partial nudity but otherwise nothing to graphic for younger viewers, though probably not for too young of viewers. Anyway, for you adults this one is worth a watch.

How far would you go to get your into the movie business?
I first saw this on TV some years ago. It’s also known as The Buddy Factor in some countries. I just love it so much. I know Kevin Spacey is a dirty word these days, but his acting in this as Buddy Ackerman, head of Production is just so good! Psychotic sex maniac, obsessed with hair loss.
Add to this Frank Whaley as Guy, the newbie assistant to Buddy, is put through hell hoping to get a screenplay produced. Add to this Dawn, producer, Guys new girlfriend, producer and ex Buddy squeeze and you get a recipe of disaster.
It’s just funny but also appalling tale of Hollywood film production.

I was looking to forward to this film with such a great cast and a legendary director behind it but was left quite disappointed once it was all over.
This was Tarantino showing us how great hollywood was in the old days and how they dont make them nowadays like they did then.Dicaprios character seemed like he was heading towards a nervous breakdown for most of the film and Pitt's character was just there,hanging around and being cool.
The best part of the film was the ending,that was tarantino at his brutal,bloody and violent best,loved the way that brandy the dog helped kill the manson family members.
An enjoyable film but for me the weakest of all of tarantino's movies so far.

Another recent effort from David Cronenberg that isn’t a patch on his earlier work but is thankfully a slight improvement over the atrocious ‘Cosmopolis’. This one at least actually has some semblance of a plot but is still one hell of a struggle to get through. It attempts to be a satire of Hollywood and the horrible , shallow and disgusting people in the industry told through the means of a thoroughly twisted family dynamic . The characters are all completely unlikeable and I know that’s kind of the point but the film just irritated me and frequently bordered on pretentious . I didn’t care about anyone and frankly couldn’t wait for the film to end. I really hope Cronenberg goes back to horror and sci-fi and doesn’t make anymore films like this.
