Do these people read the books
When it comes to the books. I love this series till Alligent. First book amazing premise, Second Book good but predictable Third well don't talk about it rushed and fractured and tried to hard to be clever and ended up failing. However this is a film review
Divergent movie first half was close to book second half changed for Hollywood glam
Insurgent film Just went for Hollywood glam and through a lot of the plot out the window if you want a action movie don't give it the same name as a book if your not going to keep the premise.

Spectacularly bad on the disaster movies front
Why is it that the Hollywood sign is the first to go in disaster films, and why is Hollywood always trying to kill everyone off?
If it isn't a solar flare, tectonic plate/crust shifts or the reversal of Gulf streams, it's the San Andreas fault opening up creating huge earthquakes.
This film unfortunately rates rather low on the apocalyptic films front. The story is lacking, the Rock is awful - just a big American knucklehead saving the day - and the dialogue consists of a word per scene. The CGI was disappointing, even the 1990s film Deep Impact had better graphics. And Kylie Minogue doesn't even make it. It can't get any worse.

Clint still going strong at 89 years oldA
A real slow burner of a film but told in a wonderful way by a true Hollywood legend.Based on a true story Eastwood portrays a man who has lost his home, his livelihood and his family and sees that there isnt much out there for him.So after being pointed in the right direction he decides to become a drugs mule for a drugs cartel. He becomes their most reliable mule delivering their product and making himself some money in the process.
A real pleasure of a film that goes along at a nice slow pace and gives us another wonderful performance by a hollywood great.

Slim-line Hollywood epic is strong on rousing action, less so on historical authenticity. Separated-long-before-birth siblings Kirk Douglas and Tony Curtis rip chunks out of each other while drinking, raiding, pillaging and taking an interest in Janet Leigh.
Basically the silliest sort of Hollywood camp, with dialogue like 'Love and hate are two horns on the same goat!', but the photography and score do occasionally combine to produce something rather stirring. It occasionally has a rather harder, darker edge than you'd expect (there's quite a lot of mutilation in the script), but not that much more than Ben Hur. The combined wattage of the various stars keeps it watchably entertaining.

There’s nothing that tickles those pesky brothers more than casting a gaggle of gigantic Hollywood stars - including one’s wife - as total nitwits. It’s a high old tale about unintelligent intelligence. That’s the Coens for you.

Good Sfx
Enjoy the ride
A good film with 2 of the most popular stars of Hollywood at present. Despite the limited cast this is an interesting film. A little predictable but intense nevertheless. Good Sfx for the spaceship and ideas for future technology but it won't leave a lasting impression.
