I'll keep this short and sweet again as it's hard to review these books without repeating yourself!

This book looks at Pa making more money to finally get the Ingalls family settled on their very own homestead. A sad start to the book which made it quite difficult to get going really, and which changed the dynamic of the family somewhat.

The story and lives of the family progress nicely, with a few scary moments which keep the book moving and flowing and of course some old friends show up again, even if it is just a quick mention! It's lovely how Ingalls Wilder captures the feeling of those bright pioneers who were determined to keep going west and open up America.

Well written, and enjoyable once it finally got going, to the point where it was actually quite difficult to put the book down! The sneak preview of the fact that Royal and Almanzo Wilder have homesteads to the north of the new town is lovely as the mind begins to run away with you, knowing that they are her future family.

It’s time for Homestead Days in the town of Broken Boot, Texas, and the big draw this year is up and coming country singer Jeff Clark, who happens to be the ex of Josie Callahan’s best friend Patti. At the opening night concert, the two seem to be reconnecting, but the next morning, Josie finds Jeff dead in Patti’s living room. Naturally, the police think Patti makes a great suspect, and with pressure to wrap the case up quickly, they aren’t looking for many other suspects. That means it is up to Josie to clear her best friend. But can she do it?

This is a fun second entry in the series. I did find the book needed another pass to truly smooth out a few of the scenes, but it was still definitely worth reading. The characters are unique for a cozy and truly so much fun. The plot gives us great suspects and twists right until the can-only-happen-in-Texas climax.

Lindsay has been living with her aunt Rebecca and Uncle Daniel Kauffman. Lindsay Bradford comes to a crossroads in her live to join the church or return back to the English world where are older sister is college student. Lindsay needs to make a big decision.

Lindsay hear about her family friend Trish has an accedent and decide to got live with her until she can get back on her feet. Lindsay also while visiting Trish and Frank, her sister Jessica pressures her to get her GED and make life of for herself. Jessica seem to want to run her little sister life.

Lindsay does stay in contact with her friends in Bird in Hand with her Cousins and new friends. While Lindsay is struggling to see where she belongs. She also is having feeling for someone back in Bird in Hand. Rebecca starts to have compilations with her pregnancy and her niece doe not want to tell Lindsay for her to leave her homestead and worry about her. Katie does not know if she would tell Lindsay or not but decides to do this and hopes to be forgiven for doing it.
