I received a copy of Shadow Frost from Blackstone Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

I'm a sucker for world building and this one was a thrill to read.

I loved the way magic was portrayed in this book but most importantly I adore the characters.

I really really hope there's going to be a sequel to this one, because that cliffhanger!

I was pleasantly surprised by this series and hope to see a continuation of it. It was constantly intense and unexpected. Even in the moments of supposed calm, there is a palpable tension in every action taken by the characters. The way it follows the different characters on their journey through the horror and how their stories link together was really interesting.
