"When I was a little girl, someone gave me a copy of a book called The Adventures of the Wishing-Chair. The chair grew wings and could fly away to other worlds. I started using books for that very purpose from a really early age. Books helped me to endure, learn, navigate, believe, imagine and hope. It also made me realize that the world I was growing up in was not the only one out there and I could use words as wings in my own way too. I still have a really old copy of it although I haven’t read it in decades."

Glitchy at times (0 more)
I'll admit i got this from PS Plus a few months ago and was excited to try this game that I'd been eyeing for a while. It ran fine for several chapters and I was getting intrigued by the story line. Who was our sire? Were we going to go the good route or the bad route? Would we be the one to cure the plague wrecking London?

Several times though, it glitched mid fight and I had to exit the game and hope it had autosaved not too long before it froze on me.

I haven't finished the game yet but look forward to doing so.

"In recent years, with financing so much harder to come by and the best television raising itself to the level of great filmmaking, I’ve been happily earning a living working in serialized cable dramas, while still trying to get my own films made. For me, Berlin Alexanderplatz was the grandfather of all the best of modern television, using the expanse of hours to dig ever deeper under the skin of characters, seducing us into caring for a dark antihero in spite of ourselves, and showing that television can be as visual and inventive and surreal as the best movies. I hope we get a Blu-ray version soon!"

"In which Peter Falk and John Cassavetes play two broken goons who bond, bicker, and ultimately level each other during one rough night in Philadelphia. May made this just a few years after The Heartbreak Kid—a perfect movie, and one that I hope Criterion can add to its catalog someday!—and while the two films couldn’t be more different in terms of tone, they both zero in on a kind of self-defeating, self-aggrandizing male psychology that’s a little too relatable at times. And Falk and Cassavetes are so remarkable here that you can’t help but wonder which two modern actors would play these roles today."

Truly Worth Reading
Though not a typical read for me, I am grateful that the publisher sent me an advanced readers copy because it was such a beautiful story. This story is told from varying views and I found myself easily relating to the younger sister Millie in particular to her choice of a husband. Through the author's writing I, was able to experience the feelings that Ruth and Millie had in such a vivid way, that I often felt as I myself was a part of this well-written story.

This was truly well worth reading and I hope that others take a chance on this story.

This manga is going to tear my heart out and stomp all over it if by the end of the fifth volume we don't have a happy ending. If the future we see throughout this series ends up happening for them I'm going to cry so bad. Just thinking about it is making me tear up. I mean, they're all so close and to lose someone like that...jeez!

I hope that now we (and they) all know that they're in it together that Naho and Kakura get together and ten years from now that he's going to be there happy. Off to start volume 4.

The Warren's daughter Judy (0 more)
Not enough scares (0 more)
I'm a big fan of the conjuring universe and was looking forward to seeing this.I enjoyed it in parts but it could and should have been so much better.

The Warren's daughter Judy is the main focus of this film, focusing on her abilities which are similar to her mothers. The scares are few and far between, the 2 teenage girls are annoying and entirely predictable in their meddling with the evil objects. The film is at it's best when the Warren's themselves are in it (beginning and end of the movie)

Hope the next entry into this series is The Conjuring 3.
