Corey Feldman gives one of his better performances.
The villains are surprisingly creepy.
The ending.
Pretty crazy 80s comedy/horror about neighbor paranoia with a young Tom Hanks, Carrie Fisher, and Corey Feldman. That sounds like a recipe for success to me. This typical film usually involves kids or teens investigating due to paranoia, but here we have adults which adds a level of comedy to it in itself. Love how the ending pulls a twist and then twists back. As a first time viewer you have no fucking clue until the credits roll. And all he wanted to do was enjoy his vacation by relaxing at home. I really enjoyed this film I thought it was well directed and acted it wasn't "scary" in the traditional horror movie sense but this one left you feeling tense and uncomfortable throughout which is a refreshing change from your typical cheap jump scare horror the use of dark comedy is also great it helps to alleviate the tenseness but only ever so briefly before throwing you right back into it

A so-so horror comedy with a good array of UK acting talent on show. Ok in parts, it has some funny scenes and quite gory in places. Overall just not quite as polished as Severance, Shaun of the dead. One mainly for the guys.

I adore this book. It's a fantastically quirky mix of horror and comedy. Totally nuts, in the way only Jeff Strand can be. If you're the demented type of person I am, who thinks body parts falling of is kinda funny, you'll love this book.
